Growing up, I always dreamt about having superpowers like most kids but I could boldly stand up and say that my imagination was the wildest of all. For starters I always end up dying as a hero in my imagination "damn, that sounds cringe" but now that I'm grown up and seen reality, if it ain't family I die for no one. "Wait this is even more cringe than the last but who cares"
Knock knock... Allen, are you in there? I'm coming in, right at that moment Allen woke up from his fantasy and realized he is still naked. Mom, don't come in, why? I'm still dressing.... "what is on you that I have never seen before? I cleaned you up as a child" Allen's mom teased, "I'm coming in" please don't sigh, everyone in the family always tease me this way because I don't like anyone seeing me naked, male or female
Don't get me wrong I have a very good physique but quite lacking in the height every other part is perfect, yes I am narcissistic....beep beep beep

Nigeria is not for the weak, if you're not tough you won't survive. Everyone is trying to make it, the country is very wealthy but our leaders want everything for themselves.
Allen you will be late for work
I know, I grabbed my bag and ran down stairs heading for the door. Won't you have breakfast, asked mom, I'm good, I left.
I'm supposed to be in university but I decided to stay home and work because of some financial troubles dad was going through but everything is better now and I will be going to school this year 2025. My older brother and sister are already in school but I didn't go in order not to put more burden on my father. We came to Lagos some months ago and dad has already landed a solid job
I grew up here but we relocated to the north, Adamawa state and I went to secondary school there but that is not the main point. Why is there a crack in the sky?
I've always had the habit of looking at the sky maybe I kinda always saw it as a cage but today that cage no I mean the sky had cracks people had not noticed it yet after all the cracks were really tiny and I will never doubt my eyes because I always regretted doubting them and my inner voice.
Soon enough that crack began spreading and with a loud bang the sky shattered like glass and then everything returned back to normal like nothing happened it was like a calm before the storm. People started panicking and screaming... what is happening? Is it the rapture? Oh my God I just lied, God have mercy, some ran about while others knelt where they were and started praying and asking for forgiveness
But today was the day I knew that I didn't know myself, instead of panicking there was a slight smile on my face some even thought that I have gone mad but I as a book lover knew that things were about to change with heart pumping blood I struggled to contain my excitement though the world might wake me up to a cruel reality
