Kai's POV
My relationship with Zane is getting better, but my relationship with Kei is getting worse. She believes that I'm siding with Zane. I tried to talk to her again this morning after breakfast, but she won't even pay attention to me. In the end, I gave up.
I was sitting on my swivel chair when my eyes dropped to the picture frame on my table. It was me and my sister, and while looking at it, I couldn't help but think about when I could put Zane's picture on my table. Or will I even have the chance to do that?
I took a deep sigh and noticed someone tiptoeing outside my office.
He signaled me to stay quiet as he walked around like a thief, hiding himself from the employees around.
I chuckled and bit my bottom lip while watching Zane sneaking, but then when he was so close to my door, Melissa arrived and noticed him.
"Mr. Blackwood!" My secretary looked happy to see him.
