Emery makes his way straight towards home.
She looked panicked and tensed. Her mind was giving her warning signals. Something very terrible was ahead, waiting for her.
She slammed the door open as she reached home.
Mrs. Richard was already standing there waiting for her.
"Mom! There is very critical news". Emery said her voice was breaking as she couldn't breathe.
"Yes, I have heard of it. The boy is out of prison". Mrs. Richard said. Her stomach contracted into a tight ball.
"But how is it possible he was sentenced to ten years in jail? " How can he come out so early?" Emery's heart skipped a beat, a palpable pause reverberating through her chest.
Emery's mind takes her back to the flashback of her confrontation with Grayson when he was sentenced to ten years.
She remembered Grayson's threats when the police were taking him away.
"The boy has always been a problem for us, and now he is back again," said Mrs Richard, narrowing his eyes. "I will crush him like an insect if he tries to come over to us". She clenched her jaws.
Mrs. Richard felt a mix of fear and determination coursing through her veins. The thought of Grayson being free sent a chill down her spine, but she refused to let terror paralyze her. Her protective instincts kicked in, and she resolved to do whatever it took to keep her family safe.
"We should not wait for him to do something. Rather, we should act on our own". Emery said, trying to comprehend the situation.
She only asked her mother to make the necessary moves to avoid harm if Grayson tried to do something.
"Don't worry, he will not be able to harm us. I will make sure he regrets getting out of prison". Mrs. Richard said, clenching his fist.
"Mom, you do not understand. This is not a game". Emery yelled, slamming her fist on the desk, her eyes red in rage and fear. "We have to act now." We do not know him exactly. He has some powers we are unaware of". She added,
A tense environment filled all over the room. No one could have expected that this situation would come.
Mr. Richard also entered the room as he listened to the shouting sounds of his wife and daughter.
"You should investigate Grayson. There might be some information that we have missed". He tried to relax Emery and assured her they would get the solution as early as possible.
"Okay, I will make some necessary moves and find out the current activities of Grayson". Emery said, stuttering over words and breathing rapidly.
She felt insecure and nervous. What was in Grayson's mind? She remembers the threats Grayson made when he was first taken away, and she's fearful of what he might do now that he's out.
The uncertainty surrounding his unexpected early release only adds to her anxiety, as she worries about the unknown extent of his abilities and intentions.
She is also concerned about the safety of her family and the potential danger Grayson poses to them.
Her inner self warned her over and over. "What if we underestimated him all along?"

Grayson at Monarch Enterprises took the company's power before the board of directors.
His heart felt very full as he enjoyed immense power.
Everything was under his control, as if the world was moving according to his orders.
He assured all the directors that Monarch Enterprises would become the most powerful company that no one could have ever imagined under his supervision.
First and foremost, he explained the situation of Richards's business and told his team that he would try to destroy Richards like never before.
"The Richards think that they are untouchable and no one can harm them. Let's show them what real power looks like". Grayson smirked.
"I want to make a subtle move first to destroy them internally". He voiced firmly, confidence clear in his voice.
He ordered the cyber specialist Mia, a passionate lady who knew her business well.
"I want you to disrupt all the transactions of Richards's business. All their accounts should be flagged and their payments delayed. Make sure that all this should look like an internal error". Grayson announced his first plan.
"The job will be done, sir". Mia said, listening to Grayson's instructions.
"Now for the next steps, start short-selling their stocks. Make sure no one should trace what's happening". Grayson ordered the financial analyst, Ethan.
"Alright, Sir". He replied.
"We also need some private investigators". He asked while his eyes searched for Clara.
"I am here". She said, stepping inside the office. "We already have a private investigator. Let me introduce you to Lila". She said, introducing Lila to Grayson.
Lila was known to be a top-notch private investigator in the country and had the best abilities in her field.
"Thank you so much for your services, Lila". Grayson forwarded his gratitude.
"I need you to find vulnerabilities in Richards's business—personal and professional. The dirtier, the better".
"The job is pretty easy for me. It will be done in no time". Lila replied, nodding his head.
"Okay, this is it for now". He adjourned the meeting. Everyone assured him that the work would be done.
He left the office and went to the park for a walk.
"I never wanted to become this. But they forced my hand. " Every move I make now is for the man they tried to destroy." His thoughts raced as he was walking in the park.
His mind is cluttered with thoughts about whether everything will go well. All his life, he felt that he was nothing, and now, suddenly, he was the wealthiest man.
Clara saw Grayson from a distance. He had wrinkles on his forehead while his feet were clenched, filled with cold sweat. He was nervous.
"You're doing what needs to be done. Don't doubt yourself". Clara came from behind, placing a comforting hand on his shoulder.
"There's no doubt, Clara. It's anger. " And it's not going away anytime soon," Grayson replied. The thrust of revenge was making him unconscious and uncontrollable.
