Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: The Calm Before The Storm

The twin suns of Astraea Burned above the sprawling Solaris Academy, casting golden rays over the courtyard filled with students in uniform. Laughter and clashing training sabers echoes across the plaza. Among them stood Hayama Akira, his long white hair tied neatly behind his head, a calm presence amidst the chaos. He wore a simple white t-shirt, brown pants, and worn out white shoes-nothing flashy, but unmistakably him.

"Akira!" Shouted Ariban, panting as he jogged toward him, his purple hair tangled and wild, his hand wrapped tightly in bandages. "They running another simulations today. You're not gonna skip, are you?"

Akira smiled faintly. "Not planning to. Yuki said she upgraded Overlock's data core."

A few feet away, Akane leaned against a wall, watching them with a smirk. "About time. We're supposed to be soldiers, not philosophers."

The sound of engine thrums approached from above. A sleek gunship swooped down, piloted expertly by Evan, who gave a lazy salute from the cockpit. Sylas, his ever-serious co-pilot, nodded stiffly as they passed.

Inside the academy's Mobile Suit Hangar, rows of metallic giants slumbered like dormant titans. Among them stood Overlock, sleek and fierce in black, green, and gold-its surface painted with draconic scales, ready for war. Dual plasma cannons rested on each arm, and when combined, they formed a powerful bean cannon, feared even in mock battles.

Yuki, the lead engineer and Akira's girlfriend, waved from the console with grease-streaked cheeks and bright eyes. "She's ready, Akira. Don't hold back."

Akira Climbed into the cockpit, gripping the controls with a familiar chill of resolve.

But far beyond the academy, aboard the abandoned orbital colony Xelvaris, something sinister stirred.

He stood alone in the shadows, licking a lollipop and staring into the heart of a Machine that pulsed with blue light-the ancient system known only as XO. It was the key to turning barren planets into living worlds. Oxygen. Atmosphere. Life.

"Beautiful," whispered Phantom, pink hair falling over his eyes, round glasses glinting in the dim glow. His white and purple Mobile suit, Atom, loomed behind him-a terrifying creation with a drill-arm and a mad glint in its eyes. "Soon, I'll rewrite the galaxy. No more boundaries. No more rules."

He crushed the lollipop stick in his mouth and chuckled. "Except, I don't hurt women. That's just wrong."
