"All right, I have more important matters to attend to. You should head back now," Soros said, his tone devoid of concern or interest. With that, he turned and walked deeper into the sanctum, no longer paying Daniel any attention.
As the angel's figure disappeared into the distance, Daniel stared after him with a rather peculiar expression on his face.
He hadn't expected this turn of events at all.
