Chapter 1 - Prologue

Long ago, in an age of myths and legends, there existed an omnipotent being who walked the mortal world.

He was neither god nor human — though he bore the image and likeness of both — nor did he belong to any other race.

His power rivaled the heavens; his might overwhelmed the gods.

Yet despite his strength, he never ruled above others.

Unlike the gods, he walked among all beings as their equal.

Because of this, he was loved by many, respected by rivals, and feared by evil.

But not all welcomed his presence.

A certain group of power-hungry gods grew envious.

At the same time, corrupt mortal leaders felt threatened.

For how could the gods bask in their divine glory while constantly overshadowed by him?

How could kings and queens rule with absolute authority when they could not bribe or sway him with riches?

Thus, the gods plotted to destroy the omnipotent one.

Yet they could not move openly — for if they failed, they would face oblivion, a divine punishment worse than death.

The answer lay in humanity: the weakest, most vulnerable of all races — and ironically, the ones the omnipotent one cherished most.

The gods preyed on humanity's corruptible nature.

They planted seeds of fear and doubt, whispering that the omnipotent one was merely a wolf in sheep's clothing.

That his power, if ever unshackled from his goodwill, could wipe them out in an instant.

For the plot to succeed, the gods gifted humans with abilities, divine weapons, forbidden knowledge, and resources.

Other races, too, fell under the gods' deception.

Thus, a military alliance was formed.

Together, they marched to confront the omnipotent one.

For two days, the battle raged against the guardian forces who served the omnipotent one.

After a grueling and bloody struggle, the guardians were finally defeated.

On the third and final day, the mortal armies faced the omnipotent one himself.

The battle shook the very earth.

For hours they clashed, and by the final morning, only five individuals still stood against him.

After a fierce and desperate struggle, the omnipotent one was finally defeated.

From that day forward, those five came to be known as the Five Legendary Heroes.
