"Why do we have to pass the dead ocean before reaching Carla's coven, like seriously who the hell puts a coven after a dangerous ocean", said Cleo clutching herself from the cold.
"Someone whose hiding", said Mari trying to look through the foggy mist
"I always knew she was suspicious", said Liv stroking her cheeks.
"Please tell me that skeleton doesn't belong to a human or half human", said Hannah staring at the skull on the ground.
"Ok I won't", Liv shrugged "that's definitely human", she whispered loudly to cleo.
"This place gives me the creeps..now I know why they call it sea of no return", said Cleo.
"Why is it called that by the way", asked Hannah while Mari was trying to figure out which direction to go.
"Oh come on Hannah is in the name and then they call me the dum one", said Liv smacking her head. Hannah looked like she was about to commit murder and kept on flexing her fingers to calm herself while still glaring at Liv who just stuck her tongue out childishly.
The mist started clearing and the ground and sea was more visible now so with the bones on the shore and the eerie silence of the night.
"You know I also heard there are mermaids and sirens in this ocean and also other sea monsters", said Cleo.
"That's not possible, every creature apart from werewolves, witches and faires went on extinct with the vampires", said Hannah.
"If that's so, how did these people from the tale die", asked Mari "there must be an explanation", she concluded.
"Maybe an evil demon from the deepest part of earth roams this very ground were standing on right now killing every living being who steps on it and sending their soul into anguish for eternity", said Liv.
"Not helping Liv", yelled Hannah.
"Well good your scared that's for making me sit through two and half scary movie last time"
"And I will do it again", Hannah yelled.
"Guys!! were the only ones here", said Cleo in hush whispers.
"But what if the mermaids and sirens are the cause of their deaths, am not saying their real but who knows", Mari said
"we all know sirens are known for being murderous creatures", she added
"Well that's logical", said Cleo
"Unlike someone's", said Hannah still glaring at Liv.
"Wait", Mari said halting her tracks and putting her hands out for them to stop.
"Did you guys hear that", asked Mari trying to listen intently.
"Ugh! that's always a line in every scary movie", groaned Cleo throwing her head back. "Were so dead", she added covering her face with her palms.
"I think I heard what you heard", said Hannah looking towards the sea.
"Like some rumbling from underneath the sea", asked Mari
"Yeah"
"Do you guys hear that too", Mari asked and they all nodded as they started to hear it too.
The rumbling grew louder and nearer and ripples started forming on the surface of the sea.
"Oh my God we're going to die, were going to die", cried Liv.
"You know this is why people die in scary movies they just stand and look like us instead of run", said Cleo.
"Oh that's a great idea", said Liv in thinking mode about to run but held back by Hannah.
"Seriously! How do I know her", said Hannah throwing her hands in esparation.
"We're all still standing...and well still not moving", said Mari
"come on who doesn't want to know what's going to happen", said Cleo
"Yeah your right", said Mari with a shrug.
"What if it attacks us", asked Liv.
"Then it should have done that since instead of making a dramatic entrance", said Hannah.
"Every scary movie has dramatic entrance", said Cleo eyes steady on the ripples in sea.
"Stop making references to scary movies is not helping Cleo", yelled Hannah.
"I thought you were not afraid of scary movies, now your acting like a big baby", said Liv sticking out her tongue mocking
"That's why is called a scary movie Liv, this..is real life", said Hannah with gritted teeth.
"Wow even at a time of death they still argue", sighed Cleo

And then there was a big splash of water everywhere and a figure was seen with fish tails.
"Wait... Half human, long fish tail, long straight hair, suspiciously beautiful...", said Liv "is a mermaid", she gasped.
"Yeah we figured", said Hannah rolling her eyes.
"Thank you for the compliment...names Stella", she said stretching out her hand.
"And why should we trust you", asked Mari.
"I didn't say you should trust me but I don't bite, promise", she said.
"Well then.... since is settled we better get going", said Cleo about to Leave.
"Wait...", said a new voice and out came another likes of a mermaid but with long finger nails and razor sharp fins and teeths.
"Ok that's...a freaking siren", said Hannah backing away with others.
"We're so going die", cried Liv.
"Am not as bad as I look", chuckled the siren.
"Whatttt!, we didn't say anything about your looks your beautiful", said Liv
"you actually make scary look badass but I also don't like taking chances", added Liv backing further away.
"Hey seriously we don't bite, all we want to know is why your here", said Stella "also this is Vera"
"Hey!!", they all said in unison.
"If you don't bite then who did this to these people", asked Cleo gesturing to the the bones on the shore.
"Well that depends on your purpose for visiting the shore, this low lives decided to experiment with our creatures but that was a hundred years ago no need to worry", said Vera.
"Wow how old are you", asked Liv with her mouth open making Hannah to jab her at the ribs. "what! don't tell me you don't want to know cause I do"
"Over six hundred years old", said Stella.
"Both of you", stammered Cleo in shock which they nodded "wow is been so long since I met someone older than 200 years of age"
"So girls, what's your purpose here", asked Stella who then stepped out of the water with human legs and Vera following suite.
"Woah I didn't know they could do that", said Liv then gasped "does all water life have feet on land", Liv asked enthusiastically.
"Oh someone help me", groaned Hannah covering her face with her palm.
"No dear only mere life and sirens", said Vera with a chuckle.
"We're just passing to Carla's coven", said Mari.
"What brings you to the witches coven", asked Stella "no matter how desperate you are for anything never rely on her, looks can be deceiving"
"What do you mean by that", asked Cleo.
"Everyone in crescent fall takes Carla as some nice good witch but us at the shore close to her coven know the real person behind that mask. After all she is the strongest witch of all for a reason not for good but evil", said Stella
"The woman is cunning I should warn you, she's self centered and any favour you ask of her must benefit her more than you."
They were surprised by her words every supernatural respected and praised Jason mother, they didn't no this side of her
"All in all whatever you kids want from the old hag that made you come all the way out here is not worth it you have a long life ahead of you and destiny to fulfill", added Stella.
"I never knew Carla had this side of her", said Hannah.
"Everyone has evil within them....some are just good at hiding it", said Vera with a shrug.
"Maybe we could be of help to you girls, now tell me what is the reason"
Mira looked at her friends to see if she could trust this water life and all responded with a nod.
"We want to know the history of crescent fall and most importantly what a royal is", said Mira.
The merlife were silent for a few seconds looking at each other making the girls antsy.

They began to settle on the sand chairs in a circle, the mist was back making the place less visible and cold, so Hannah used her powers to make a fire pit to keep everyone warm.

"Long, long ago right here in crescent fall a metreshower landed at the centre of town, the humans that were residing in town came to investigate, they tried opening the rock and they succeeded and out came two creatures in human form a girl and a boy, Luca and Zena, lovers. Don't believe those stories of humans existing after us in crescent fall because of a ship wreck. Ok they looked young but that was just the way they are never aging when reached a certain age. They had distinct features differentiating them from actual humans", said Vera
"What are they and how do they look like", asked Mari
"Royals. Am sorry but I do not know how they look like, never met one before. This is a tale my mother used to tell but now mother is long gone"

"No worries that was four hundred years ago", said Vera "now where was I....ah yes because of their distinct features humans didn't interact with them called them freaks, monsters, demons sent to destroy mankind, so they separated themselves from them. The girl took his powers but her powers were much stronger than his, she couldn't just only destroy things or beings but she could control hell, punish souls for their sins, she could see right through you, your every weakness, desires, sins. Liv gasped "that's how the north and south was divided"
"Yes Liv we got that already, stop interrupting", said Hannah rolling her eyes and Liv pouting.
"So all this time the royals were never the bad guys", said Mari in realization.
"Now this is called a story", said Cleo.
"If two of the royals sons weren't found, that means they must be somewhere in crescent fall they are immortals obviously", said Mari.
"True but the problem is no one knows what a royal look like unlike how you could tell someone is a vampire my mother always told me you can't tell that with royals", said Vera.
"What do you mean by that, you said that they had a distinct feature from humans", asked Mari.
"Yes they have a feature that differentiates them but we can't seem to remember.What we mean is royals behave exactly like humans", said Stella.
The girls began to think of different answers.
"Did the royals ever have a symbol they carried or a family crest", asked Mari.
"They did but am sorry I can't clearly remember the symbol. But I know there is a sword on it though", said Vera.
"What of a surname", asked Hannah
"Not one I can remember", said vera
There was an eerie silence each in their own thoughts the mist started becoming thicker by the seconds and the wind became strong. An enchanting tune was heard from a distance in the sea.
"Well girls, that's our queue we better get going, it was nice talking to you all", said Vera jumping into the ocean.
"I hope we see each other some day", said Stella following suite.
"Bye girls", they both said in unison waving their hands in the air and swam away.
"Buy guys", the girls said.
"Thanks for the help",yelled Mari cupping her mouth.
"No problem", shouted Vera from a distance.
"At least we didn't have to climb a hill to get answers", said Cleo.
"But we only got one answer and that's is what are royals, what of the mysteriously missing and dead people. They can't just vanish in thin air just like that", asked Hannah.
"No Hannah we got all the answers don't you see as they evolved there a was mutation in their gene making some of them powers to be stronger", said Mari "And Vera did say those of destruction punish sinners"
"And everyone on that police reports were criminals one way or the other", said Cleo.
"Am lost", said Liv with pout.
"Your always lost", said Hannah rolling her eyes and then explaining to her.
"Guys do you know what this means.... that a royal is right here living in crescent fall at this very moment", said Cleo.
"This calls for...drum roll please", said Liv enthusiastically but was met with silence.
"Oh come on...fine I will do it myself as always", she said then imitated a drum roll with her fingers.
"Spy mystery detectives", said Liv with a proud look.
"Seriously that's the best you could come up with", asked Hannah.
"My brain has a specific capacity it can carry"
"At least she knows", whispered Hannah.
"Hey, that's mean", said Liv smacking her.
"Ouch", said Hanna with a glare.
"Guys we need to go, the mist is becoming too thick", said Cleo.
The wind had already put out the fire making the place difficult to see.
They all stood up and dusted themselves. Mira put both hands on her hips and looked at her friends.
"Girls we have mysteries and secrets to reveal"
