Octane woke up in the white part of the void, feeling extremely confused and disoriented as he got up, seeing light all around himself. He started to walk forward seeing how he was stuck as he decided to find answers to where he was. He mumbled under his breath before hearing someone nearby "Octane?" It sounded like Brawl's voice. He turned seeing Ionstorm, Skywraith and Brawl there along with a couple of of other Decepticons "What the- I heard you all died didn't you not?" Skywraith sighed "I don't know if I'm dead, that's thing." Ionstorm spoke up after Skywraith "Whatever happened to you, may I asked?" Octane replied with a slightly nervous voice "Got shot by the prime." Brawl realized that Octane experienced the same thing as he did "Hold on you also got shot by Optimus?" He turned to them after questioning him and asked "Well what about you two?"
"I got shot and thrown in water." Skywraith replied with his abrasive tone while Ionstorm stated"I got shot and I fell into a hole where it had 'chain' and saw parts." Octane finally replied with "So we don't know what we are doing here then, huh?" All of them nodded at Octane before Skywraith looked towards the side "Wait, I think I see something in the horizon!" he said as Ionstorm soon asked "We barely can see anything, what direction are you talking about?" Skywraith pointed to the right as they decided to move towards where he saw something. And there was actually something. It looked to be a sort of counter and nearby was a camping place. "Whoever could be living here?" Ionstorm asked as Brawl rolled his own optics "Someone who doesn't have a place to stay!" Both glared at each other as Octane yelled loudly "You two, shut up for a damn minute or so! We have to figure out why we are potentially here."
Both of them stopped glaring at each other surprised that Octane was acting unusually responsible and asked at the same time "Whatever is up with you?" And "Are you acting serious or something?" Before Octane replied with "No, I just wanted you two to shut it and remember, we have to get out." Both of them sighed nodding realizing the importance of his statement. Skywraith soon touched the bell and he heard someone say "Just give me a minute." Before they sat upwards. They had never seen this Cybertronain, they had a sliver and purple colour scheme and seemed unusually younger than they looked like and half of their face was covered by a shadow, hiding their optics "You came a long way from here, huh?" They all nodded before he continued "That would make sense. Call me, Side-Shift. You lot are un-surprisingly not the first around here." Brawl asked "Where are we?"
"In a sort of static rest. It usually takes a while for someone to come here if their spark becomes unstable. You lot are the quickest I ever seen." Side-shift said as Ionstorm looked confused "Static rest, I heard of stasis, sparks' living and sparks' death. Whatever is static rest?" Side-shift answered for him. "Static rest is when your spark is still alive but one or more major parts decides to shut down. It's quite rare to experience it." He said quietly as he looked towards the other parts of the void. He also said "Well sit down, might as well discuss if we got it." They looked cautious of the unknown Cybertronain but agreed since he was their only source of actual information here.
"So... Anyways to get out of this static rest if we could?" Brawl asked roughly as Side-Shift soon said to him "Some take longer to get out then others. Some pass through death, others wake up. Though it is " Side-shift began to grab some energon cubes as there felt like a huge absence of coldness or warmth and while there wasn't much gravity around, it was enough to keep them on their pedes in this strangely white environment. "So, what happens to those that live?" Skywraith questioned as Side-Shift gave a small enigmatic smile on his own face "Well they don't always turn out the same." His cryptid sentence made them feel rather unnerved and in Octane's case, confused. "Not always the same, whatever could that mean-" Side-Shift soon change the topic by saying "Well your going to be stuck here for a while. So want a cube?"
"Yeah I'll take one." Octane grabbed the large edible cube while the other two just shrugged and Brawl asked "Any other drinks?" Side-shift nodded and began to look under the drawers. He gave a Zitrone-mint energon drink for him to enjoy as Brawl took it from his hands. He sat upwards looking a little pissed off as Ionstorm asked "Is he in a mood again?" Skywraith facepalmed while Octane rolled his optics "These two again." Side-Shift soon stated with "Just make sure you aren't fighting near my counter, okay?" Ad they turned to look at him. Side-Shift replied with "Just making sure." They all watched as he went out of the counter and began to move through there. "How does he find his way around, I wonder?" Before Octane said "He probably has a tracker, those can detect objects from really far places."
"So what are we supposed to do now, that we are stuck here? We got no way out!" Brawl clenched his fingers before Ionstorm mocked him a bit. The Decepticon glared at him hard as Ionstorm gave a chuckle. Octane started to feel his ego dull down due to his rather cowardly attitude. He began to get upwards and went to look in the camp nearby. It wasn't really that large but there was a few decent tents of different colours (mostly dark green, teal and black). There were packets of energon cubes around and the tents look to firmly stuck to the ground. Skywraith went into his own tent where he decided to at least rest for now. His mind wandered on Side-Shift's question. Whatever was 'Static rest'? It seemed to be some sort of unknown Cybertronian concept he never heard of. He sat down in his tent as he saw Brawl coming towards him "Whatever you are doing?" Before Skywraith soon said to him "Don't do this, Brawl. Just let me rest."
