Within the Prime Minister's residence, servants hasten, footsteps double, and candles light up the courtyard, and all heads bow, praying for a miracle. By the time Sunny got there with Iya, the physician was waiting and began immediately.
But then, that was not the least of their problems. Sunny stared out of the eyes of everyone, but that seemed not to be enough to stop him from becoming the center of attention. Tongues wagged, speculations filled the air, and accusations ran wild.
"So he knew where she was all along," a woman hissed.
"I heard they have a love interest... if not, why would a noble lady venture a little further into such an absurd location?" one added.
"Indeed, now he will have to marry her... no one would want a woman with a tarnished reputation."
