It was dark, i can't see anything, i can barely hear the sounds, a Police siren, jumbling words that i can't tell. but there is something strange, i know they are touching me, i can feel somebody's hand touch my face, and the next moment someone is pulling my head up from the same area. and then the sensations seems to switch.
its like two separate person touching me on the same spot, but the sensation is getting less noticeable on the other side,
i thought to myself, is this after life? is my soul slowly parting ways with my body?
I was too young to die. I am not satisfied with my life yet. Am i really gonna to die, virgin?
i feel like crying. that's it for me, i have no attachment anyways. i am ok with this ending. but if there's one thing i regret.
It is that i didn't even say goodbyes.

As i slowly open my eyes, i can see what seems to be bright light slowly dimmers and shows a chandelier, there is a young man looking at me, and i seem to be laying down. i don't feel like this is a hospital room. the lighting is dim and the ambiance is calm.
this room is unfamiliar to me, but why do i feel safe in here.
i look unto my left and saw a young woman gasping as she lies down and slowly that man approaches the young woman holds her hands and saying something i do not understand.
i tried to stand up and reach out my hand.
"Hey, what's happening?"
i can't seem to speak a word and i looked at my little wobbly hand. wait! this is is a baby's hand.
i touched myself to confirm. big head, small feet, tiny prick, i am certain.
i wanted to shout in disbelief but i just kept crying instead.
i didn't know my life suddenly turns 180 degrees.

It was already noon, I was crawling unto the hallways playing hide and seek with my mom, i just turned 1 year old apparently. I can hear my mom counting on the other room. i checked for an open door to hide.
There is one room available, i hastily hid under the bed.
Before i knew it our maid Melissa closed the door and slowly preparing take her clothes from the wardrobe. I'm starting to worry about this situation. if she ever finds out. she will start glaring at me.
i think I'm getting accustomed to this reality. in this world my name is Reymund Elnier, the first born child of house Elnier, my mothers name is Katniss, the one I'm playing hide and seek right now. and my dad name is Victor who is swinging sword outside right now.
My father is the current head chief of this village Gardendale. same as my previous life, the electing for chief head is by majority vote and the term is 12 years. it is my dad's 3rd year in position. and our family has a good reputation through out the town.
Sometimes, i can see unknown faces greeting my father outside. pictures on the living room shows my fathers guild group including mom as a mage and my dad as a knight.
One person i cant seem to read is our maid Melissa who has been cold towards me. pretty sure i haven't done anything to upset her.
but right now it might change.
Melissa is ready to undress her undergarment and all i could do is shake in fear and hope to god she wont find out.
A sudden knocked to the door is heard.
Melissa answered without opening the door "Yes, do you need something?"
"Have you seen Rey, i was looking everywhere and i cant find him. have you seen him walked into this room?" Katniss asked
Mom why would you mention me to her right now. i silently complained to my mom
"I see, I'll let you know when i see him madam" Melissa replied back while continuing to undress
Oh god i think I'm dead, she might know I'm here.
i just patiently waited until Melissa opens the door ready to leave. i slowly crawl while the door is open.
before i walk out the room i first sneak around to see the surrounding. i do not see my mom and the maid so the coast is clear. little did i know Melissa was looking at me behind while laying down on bed.
And i felt a sudden chills crawl its way up my head as i notice a dreadful aura coming from behind me.
No way!
How is Melissa just laying on the bed looking at me with a dreadful eyes
Pretty sure i saw her walked out of the room, can she teleport or something
before i could crawl outside the room Melissa stopped me and asked a question.
"hold it!"
"before you leave is it white or pink?"
i would have wet my pajamas after hearing that but i immediately think about the panty color.
God, just kill me now, this is so awful. Then, it is white.... No-no like hell i would say that, she would have killed me. better to just leave it off.
i started walking out pretending i don't understand her. Thankfully she let me go that easy.
i was about to celebrate for getting out of that mess but my mom suddenly hoist me up out of blue.
"Gatcha"
She then started tickling me, and i cant help being powerless by this constant abuse of power. all i could do is laugh agonizingly.

its been 9 years already this age is typically the right age to start getting into high school. there is a school here in Gardendale called Gumamela Highschool that i am starting to enroll soon. but before that i want to at least make a friend first.
I walked through the town, meeting new faces and greeting them one by one. i never felt outcasted in my previous life. i learned the ability to fake a smile just to avoid standing out too much. Sure people gets annoyed of seeing my face from time to time. but that doesn't bother me.
hopefully this life is different, no gambling, no hating and everyone support each other.
right after saying that i so happen to see two kids the same old as me bullying a girl.
Well i spoke to soon, i was about to commend this world and this is what it wanted to show me. Well it cant be help, if someday i will be in a position to be head chief of this place at least i already have a good reputation.
i walk closely to them and shout
"Hey! why don't you pick someone your own size"
"what's your problem, stay out of this loser" one of the bully replied
she is badly hurt, and is crying there's no way i could leave it like this. as the bully raise his arm for another jab aim at the girl. Reymund pushes his hand to not hit the girl.
"Stop it already, she is hurt enough. i don't know what she did to you to hate her this much. but i cant stand this!" Reymund shouted at the bully
I looked at the girl for a second and she was looking cute at that moment.
I was caught off guard the second i look at the bully, a flying ice shard can be seen approaching my way.
didn't knew the other kid already finished chanting the ice magic behind our back.
i flew meters back from the collision i was hurt. i tried to stand up but my leg is injured
Shit i can't run i have no choice but to chant a magic.
before i could finish the chant the other kid who seem to specialize close combat kicked my arm.
i let out a loud scream. and the girl who i was supposed to save was worried about me
"Stop this please!" she shouted
I thought my life is going to start fresh turns out this world is very much the same as my previous world, rotten.
i cant do anything as he keeps kicking my face i blocked it by covering my head with my arm and compressing myself to protect the sensitive part.
i was about to cry i wanted to scream for help
"Mom! dad! save me!" i scream my lungs out but nobody responded.
This may be the end for me.
Suddenly the bully who keep kicking Reymund suddenly started flying by the same attack his fellow bully used. the bully went flying more meters away than Reymund's did and was knocked out cold after landing.
I was too weak to see what have happen as i started losing my consciousness.
The girl who was just sitting behind bewildered to see what has happened to the bully who chant the ice magic against his ally. its like he wasn't in control of himself or that his looking at his ally like he must kill him at all cost.
The last thing she saw is that bully seems to be seeing something unworldly terrifying that she can't see Infront of him. His eyes is bulging and watering. And he started chanting a powerful version of the ice shard like his life is depending on it.
After those three boys falls down The girl then felt a presence of a demon and started getting drained as well.
All four of them lying down while the villager spotted the event called for help.

I just woke up the same day. i was panting after what happened that day as i looked around it is already midnight that i woke up.
i looked at my body and found out that my injury is fully healed my mom was sleeping right beside me with a trace of tears on the blanket. i knew she was worried sick after what happened. he tried to remember what exactly happened but can't seem the recall passed the time he started getting unconscious. he was hoping the girl manage to get out safe after he passed out.
"i hope she's fine"
The Next day...
i was starting to get afraid of venturing outside after what happened. the change i was hoping for might not happened at all, worse case is i might get isolated at school. suddenly mom knocked on the door and said
"Rey someone is looking for you"
i felt like declining the request but i still need to maintain the fake smile so that my recognition wont get damage.
"Come in"
Reymund maintain the playful atmosphere.
"Welcome to Reymund's little castle sorry if its a bit cramped here, after what happened to me i can't help but try to lift a muscle, you know"
Turns out the visitor was actually the girl that Reymund saved.
"You're that girl yesterday, I'm glad you were safe. have you eat already, why don't we go to the dining table. I'll tell our maid Melissa is a master chef."
before Reymund could cold her hand and bring her to the kitchen the girl suddenly hugged him.
After a short tight hug she introduced herself.
"My name is Elinoise, thank you for saving me. And ummhh"
"Can i become your friend Reymund?"
I was surprise by that statement. i thought my life is over and i will be alone for the rest of my life. never thought that this girl still willing to be friends with me despite seeing me at my weakest.
i have to treasure this newly formed bond between us. this is the first step into enjoying my life in this world.
I hugged her back and said " If you are ok with me, I'm glad to be friends with you"
"but seriously if i was just quick about it i could have defeated those two bully you know, i was just caught off guard by that magic" Reymund started making up stories to support his defeat.
Both of us laugh while i tell my story as we go downstair to eat.
