Chapter 7 - Chapter 7 Seven Dormitories

Ye Qiu and Tang San had just arrived at the entrance of Dormitory Seven.

The dormitory door was wide open, and faint sounds of laughter and play could be heard from inside.

Ye Qiu's eyes flickered slightly, and he subtly fell back a step behind Tang San.

Following behind Tang San, he walked in.

As soon as they entered.

The first impression Dormitory Seven gave Ye Qiu was its spaciousness.

There were dozens of beds in sight, but most were just empty bed frames; only eleven beds had bedding on them.

At this moment.

Seven or eight children aged between eight and twelve were playing and roughhousing.

Knock knock!

Tang San glanced at Ye Qiu behind him, raised his hand, and knocked on the adjacent door.

Hearing the knock.

The children who were playing immediately turned their gaze towards them, and after briefly sizing up Ye Qiu and Tang San, they began to exchange looks.

Finally, their eyes settled on the eldest child among them.

That must be Wang Sheng, Ye Qiu thought to himself, holding his school uniform and standing calmly behind Tang San.

Wang Sheng slowly walked out, surrounded by the other children, and looked at Tang San, then at Ye Qiu.

Although Ye Qiu and Tang San's clothes were relatively clean, they were full of patches, making it easy to guess their identity.

Wang Sheng was two heads taller than Tang San and quite sturdy. He walked up to Ye Qiu and Tang San, speaking somewhat condescendingly:

"New work-study students?"

"Hello, we are work-study students from Holy Soul Village."

Tang San nodded slightly, pulling a somewhat friendly smile onto his face.

"Hello!"

Meeting Wang Sheng's gaze, Ye Qiu greeted him.

Wang Sheng nodded, his arms crossed, looking quite proud.

"Let's get acquainted! My name is Wang Sheng, my martial soul is Battle Tiger, and I'm a future Battle Soul Master. I'm the boss here. Kid, what's your name? And what's your martial soul?"

Tang San frowned slightly, not particularly liking the other party's tone, and responded indifferently: "My name is Tang San, and my martial soul is Blue Silver Grass."

"Blue Silver Grass? Since when can this trash martial soul cultivate?"

Wang Sheng looked extremely surprised, and most of the children in the dorm joined in the laughter.

Before Ye Qiu could speak, Wang Sheng seemed impatient.

"Alright, Little Sanzi... From now on, I'm your boss. As long as you behave, I'll..."

"My name is Tang San, not Little Sanzi!"

Tang San's face turned cold, and he interrupted Wang Sheng before he could finish speaking. At the same time, he glanced behind him at Ye Qiu, who always liked to call him 'Little San'.

Ye Qiu shrugged, his face full of harmlessness.

"I'll just call you Little Sanzi. What? Not convinced? If you have the guts... you can defeat me! If you win... I'll call you boss!"

Wang Sheng raised his hand and pushed Tang San on the shoulder, causing Tang San to take two steps back.

Ye Qiu smiled.

Tang San also smiled.

However, Tang San was laughing because Wang Sheng had annoyed him.

He had originally intended to get along with them as an ordinary person, but what he got in return was suppression. Since that was the case... Tang San wouldn't be overly polite.

"Ye Qiu, help me hold this!"

"No problem."

Ye Qiu smiled and took Tang San's school uniform.

In order to study happily here, Tang San decided to return the 'welcome gift' Wang Sheng had given him!

He provocatively beckoned to Wang Sheng.

"Come on!"

"Alright!"

Wang Sheng charged forward, and Wang Sheng fell flat on his face.

Being knocked down by a child and falling face-first made him somewhat exasperated.

"You little brat, Little Sanzi! You're asking for a beating!"

A yellow aura appeared around Wang Sheng, and he let out a low growl like a tiger, charging towards Tang San again.

Tang San's eyes turned cold. Although he was curious about the power of martial souls, he was not afraid!

"Ah ah!"

"No, don't... don't touch there! Oh~"

Amidst Wang Sheng's cries of surprise.

He was directly thrown to the ground by Tang San using Control Crane Catching Dragon for an over-the-shoulder throw!

This match ended with Wang Sheng's second face-plant.

Tang San held Wang Sheng's arm using grappling techniques and said indifferently:

"Can you talk properly now?"

"Little... ah! Tang San, yes, yes..."

Wang Sheng, who had still wanted to spout arrogant words, immediately cried out in pain as Tang San began to exert force.

Hearing Wang Sheng correct his address, Tang San let go of him.

"Tang San, is your martial soul really Blue Silver Grass?"

Wang Sheng got up from the ground, flexing his wrist, still feeling lingering fear from Tang San's fighting skills.

"Of course!"

Seeing is believing, hearing is not.

Tang San raised his right hand, activated his martial soul, and a faint blue light surged from his palm. It was indeed a small blue grass swaying in the wind.

"Then how can you be so strong?"

This was not only Wang Sheng's confusion but also the confusion of everyone else in the dormitory.

"Because he has innate full soul power!"

Ye Qiu's voice came from behind Tang San. At the same time, he stepped forward and walked towards the bed he had already taken a liking to.

"What?! Innate full soul power!"

Wang Sheng's face changed dramatically, and the other students in the dorm were also in an uproar.

They never expected that there would be a genius with innate full soul power among the work-study students.

"Ye Qiu..."

Tang San looked at Ye Qiu and frowned. Mysterious Heaven Treasure Record told him never to reveal his full strength in front of others.

Although something like innate full soul power couldn't really be hidden, he still felt a slight displeasure at Ye Qiu's self-serving behavior.

"They'll know sooner or later."

Ye Qiu waved his hand, already holding the clothes in his hand and placing them on the empty bed next to him, then sat down.

Wang Sheng looked at Tang San, a complex light flashing in his eyes, containing both envy and regret.

"Tang San, I'm really sorry about just now. This is a mandatory lesson for every newcomer. To stick together and resist bullying from other students, we need a boss."

Tang San couldn't help but smile.

"So, you deliberately provoked me just now so you could defeat me and recruit me?"

Wang Sheng's face flushed, revealing a somewhat awkward smile.

"It was you who gave me a 'welcome gift', actually. Now that you've defeated me, you'll be the boss of our Dormitory Seven from now on!"

Tang San shook his head.

"I'm here to study."

"Little San, just agree to it."

Ye Qiu took out a lollipop and put it in his mouth, spreading his hands, and said helplessly:

"Didn't you hear? Work-study students are often bullied, and we are also work-study students; we can't escape it."

"Yes, yes."

Seeing that Tang San still wanted to refuse, Wang Sheng quickly rolled up his clothes to show Tang San a little proof.

He had large bruises on his body and arms.

"Look, these are all from yesterday when I first arrived at the academy. Even I am like this, let alone the others?"

The other students in the dormitory also kept nodding, looking at Tang San hopefully. The weak can only survive better by relying on the stronger.

Tang San also frowned.

Wang Sheng's strength was not bad; even he was bullied like this. It seemed that there was indeed no way to remain unaffected.

Thinking of this, Tang San nodded slightly:

"Since that's the case, after I become the boss, I naturally won't stand by and watch people from the same dormitory get bullied..."

"Great! From now on, the task of protecting Dormitory Seven and the work-study students will be entrusted to you!"

Wang Sheng was overjoyed, patting Tang San's shoulder.

Just then, a clear and pleasant voice suddenly came from the entrance of Dormitory Seven.

"Excuse me, is this Dormitory Seven?"

Everyone looked towards the entrance at the same time, and they all showed dumbfounded expressions, frozen in place.
