Chapter 7 - Marrige with an wolf omega - 7

Yue squatted down and hugged Han. "I'm sorry, Your Highness, that I broke my promise with you."

While glancing around, Yue realized it looked quite clean today— the whole area and even the room. Just then, Song entered.

"Your Highness, I've brought pudding again. Go and eat."

"No, I won't eat unless Noble Consort feeds me."

Yue now knew that it was Song who did the cleaning of Prince's manor.

"By the way, you're looking tired, Master," Song said, while blushing.

"Yes, I am also having a headache. Even after finishing the soup, I didn't feel good."

Song sighed because, when he said that, it had another meaning.

"You must be in a lot of pain, Master. Why don't you take some more rest?"

Han took a step back from Yue, his face filled with shock.

"What does Song mean by pain? Did the Emperor hit you, Consort?"

"I don't know what he's talking about. His Majesty didn't hit me. We just slept together."

That's exactly what Song wanted to hear— whether Yue and Hao slept together or not.

When he found out they did, he was happy, knowing that Yue's position wasn't threatened now.

Who knows, if Hao hadn't paid attention to Yue, it could have given others the chance to bully him.

Song helped Yue to stand up. "Master, let's go to your room. I will help you take a bath, and then you can rest."

Han didn't say anything after hearing that. He just stood there, looking at Yue.

"Your Highness, finish your breakfast. If you need something, ring the bell, and Song will come to serve you."

Song nodded, but Han was still in shock.

"You know that I wanted to marry you, and you're telling me you're happy with that Emperor?"

Yue was about to turn around to leave, but hearing that, he glanced at Han and lifted him up.

"Your Highness, you are still so young, that's why I can't marry you. And if I hadn't married His Majesty, do you think we would have ever been able to meet?"

Han understood that, but still, since Yue was the only person who had been good to him, he wanted to marry him.

That's what he had heard from the servants sometimes—that when someone gets married, they can't leave each other and stay together for a lifetime.

And he wanted to stay with Yue for his whole life.

Suddenly, Han rushed toward the bed, climbed on it, grabbed the quilt, and hid under it.

"What happened, Your Highness?"

"Leave me alone! I don't want to talk to anyone!" Han shouted as they both left the room.

They returned to the harem, where many male and female omegas and betas were talking to each other.

They were all Hao's wives, but most of them hadn't even gotten the chance to talk to Hao.

These were all political marriages, and he only loved one woman—Han's mother, who was an omega.

But after she died, he didn't care to look at any other omega until Yue came.

Yue had spent the night with Hao. This news spread through the entire imperial palace, to the harem, like wildfire.

Now, everyone was jealous. Since Yue had come, it seemed like he was climbing the ladder faster than them.

As Yue stepped into the harem and was about to go to his room with his servant, Song, two ladies came in front of him to stop him.

"Concubine Xia has called you. Come with us."

The Emperor didn't have an Empress yet. He had many wives, and one of them, Xia, was the highest-ranking wife in the whole harem because she was a concubine.

She only needed one or two more positions to become the Empress now.

So everyone in the harem respected her, and she bullied anyone she wanted to. She did everything as if she were the Empress.

But still, Yue had to stay in the harem until his position became higher than Xia's.

So, he would have to go and greet her since she had summoned him.

Yue nodded and followed those two ladies, with Song, to the main hall of the harem, where Xia was sitting.

She acted as though she were the Empress. Even though she wasn't, she had taken control of everything, and no one had stopped her.

To her, the others in the harem were like insects.

But Yue was piercing through her with his gaze because he had spent the night with the Emperor, and it was now news that the Emperor himself had summoned Yue to his bedchamber that night.

Since Han's mother died, Hao hadn't summoned anyone to his bedchamber.

He never spent the night with anyone, despite having many wives. That's why there were only a few princes now, including Han.

When Yue stepped into the main hall, Xia was sitting on the main seat, with other consorts standing beside her.

They looked at Yue as if he were some kind of dirt.

Yue got on his knees and bowed to her, as she held the higher position. His servant did the same.

"Long live, Concubine Xia."

"YOU BITCH, IS THIS HOW YOU GREET ME?!"

"GUARDS!"

When she shouted, a few guards came inside, who were Xia's personal guards.

"Give 50 lashes to this bitch's back right now!"

"No, Concubine Xia, you can't do this to my master. He didn't do anything!"

But she was determined to teach Yue a lesson, so she gave the same punishment to Song as well.

Yue didn't say anything, because at that exact moment, a white bunny appeared near Yue's head, floating in the air.

[ "Host, I am back after updating my system." ]

Yue's system bunny had come back, and both he and Yue were very happy to see him.

[ "Finally, you're here, my Bunny!"

"Don't worry, Host. I will help you complete this mission too. Even though you're in a different genre, everything is still in our hands." ]

Just then, the guards started hitting Yue.

Yue had the strength to stop them and avoid the beating, but he decided to stay silent because he was planning to do something later
