Louis did not respond. His silence was enough.
There were many people here, even though the entrance to the Tower was restricted. Everyone wanted to get in and try it out.
Luckily, they were students of the Royal Academy; they had certain entry privileges, so they could enter without any problems.
"We have potions and weapons ready, right?" Laura asked before crossing a darkened curtain that covered everything. "From this curtain, we will enter a new world. To the Tower of the Red Sun."
"Everything is ready."
"Good."
She led the way, and they crossed the curtain simultaneously.
They were teleported, but almost unknowingly.
They appeared above a large, slightly darkened corridor, with occasional torches.
"Luckily, we got a clear hallway. That's the good thing about coming early." She smiled.
Inspecting the surroundings, there were no signs of fighting in this area. There were no beasts nearby. But deep in the corridor, Louis' perception began to pick up certain presences.
