The position they were in, the fights they had just fought. The cunning displayed and the tricks used.
The madness of the man and the fear in the woman's eyes.

The weapons in their hands were also curious. He had seen them before but did not know them, so he had to be careful with them.

"I want to ask you humans a question."
Louis glared at him and raised his pistol, pointing it at his head.
"Normally, we would be the ones asking the questions, but I'm in a good mood today, " he said and smiled. "Go ahead. If I find your question boring, I'll shoot you in the head. We'll see then if you can survive."
