Louis and Laura spent two days resting there, allowing his forehead to recover quietly.
They took advantage of the time to make as many runes as possible, and at dawn on the second day, the fourth day in this place, they activated the Cube, inserting both keys into their places.
Upon doing so, the cube suddenly activated, heating up to ridiculous temperatures, causing Louis to drop it, and it floated up.
Immediately, a rune of power appeared beneath them. It wasn't that big, just big enough to cover them both. This rune glowed brightly and disappeared... Or rather, they couldn't keep looking because their vision became blurry.
It was a teleportation rune.
When they opened their eyes again, they were in a completely different place. It was no longer an open world but a cave, albeit an immense one.
At that moment, the rune beneath them did disappear. And Louis put the cube with the keys away, for it hadn't disappeared.
