Although a first blow would not determine whether that was the case, he tried to fight once more with his fists, and the blows rained down on Lam, although he managed to defend himself and counterattack in rapid succession.
In terms of technique, Lam was winning. But in terms of pure strength, every time Lam had to take an indirect or direct hit, he lost too much. His bones creaked and his meager muscles seemed to want to break free from the pressure they were under.
So Lam tried to attack with the advantage of having a weapon and being able to do so from a distance, but there was a problem: although his weapon was large, his arm was not. So he ended up in the same stalemate, landing ineffective blows and receiving extremely strong ones.
At one point, Louis hit him with a blow that sent him five meters away, and he jumped back to get further away.
