After traveling for three hours, they had to stop to camp, as night was falling.
The thing is, camping in this place is no easy task. Camping outdoors was out of the question; if a meteorite fell on them, they could all die.
But there aren't many safe caves in this place. Fortunately, Louis had chosen a place to travel where there were just the kind of caves they needed to stay in.
Although they were a little off the route they would be following, it was still safe.
Most safe places in this world are safe because they have impressive resources there that somehow prevent those meteorites from falling on top of them.
