The next evening:
At Deepan Sir's tutoring session, Abhi, Biraj, Swaroop, Pushpita, and the others were enjoying themselves, as Deepan Sir had not yet entered the room. However, among them, Smita sat quietly, gazing at an old photo of Aryan on her phone and thinking about him.
A while later, Deepan Sir entered the tutoring room. He was a young man, about 22-23 years old, with a cheerful demeanor. As he entered, he said:
Deepan Sir: "Alright, stop chatting now. There will be plenty of time for talking later. Now, everyone, open your books."
Following his instructions, all the students opened their books, and Deepan Sir began his lecture. Just then, a motorcycle pulled up outside the tutoring room. A teenager wearing a helmet got off and walked towards the room with a bag slung over his shoulder.
(Actually, the rider had his helmet on, so no one could see his face.)
As the rider entered the room and removed his helmet, the room went silent as everyone simultaneously exclaimed, "Aryan!" Yes, it was Aryan. His aura was so magnetic that everyone was drawn to him. Since Aryan had been a former student of Deepan Sir, many students already knew him. Others knew him due to his peculiar attitude and his tendency to reject attention from the most attractive girls at college.
In the past few days, Aryan had become quite popular at G.C. College and in Silchar. His refusal to notice the most beautiful girls in college, coupled with his mysterious persona, made him well-known. In fact, the students had begun to view him almost like a celebrity.
Upon seeing Aryan, Deepan Sir remarked:
Deepan Sir: "Aryan, I didn't expect you to start today."
Aryan: "Actually, Sir, I've missed a few lectures already, so I thought I'd begin today."
Deepan Sir: "Alright. Take a seat."
Aryan: "Sure, Sir."
After this, Abhi and Biraj made some space for Aryan at their bench. Aryan sat with them, focusing on the lesson, participating diligently in Deepan Sir's class.
On the other hand, every girl in the class, except for Pushpita, had their attention fixed on Aryan. But most notably, Smita couldn't take her eyes off him. She sat on the bench behind him, repeatedly glancing at his back and blushing. Aryan noticed everyone's gaze, and he could feel the attention on him. Despite his apparent indifference, Aryan's martial arts aura and his ability to sense others' behavior made him acutely aware of how everyone was reacting to him.
Meanwhile, Abhi, Biraj, and Swaroop were amazed at Aryan's calm demeanor, his intense focus on his studies, and his rapid writing speed, which was as fast as a bullet train. Even Deepan Sir was impressed by Aryan's performance and praised him after the class ended.
As the tutoring session ended, everyone walked out of the room together, and Biraj jokingly said to Aryan:
Biraj: "Aryan, this isn't fair! You should've told us you'd start attending Deepan Sir's class today."
Pushpita: "Yeah, when I asked you at college, you said your mom wouldn't let you attend private tutoring."
Mandeep: "Yeah, Aryan. Why did you make us look foolish?"
Aryan: "I just wanted to surprise all of you."
Abhi: "Aryan, you're impossible. No one can figure you out."
Just then, a mysterious smile appeared on Aryan's face. Seeing this, Smita asked:
(Actually, Aryan's mature behavior had allowed his mother to overcome her fear of losing him and grant him permission to attend the tutoring sessions.)
Smita: "Aryan, what's with that mysterious smile of yours?"
Aryan: "It's something you all wouldn't understand."
Biraj: "Why are you so mysterious, Aryan? You're acting like if you share your thoughts with us openly, something terrible will happen to us."
Aryan: "Yes, something like that."
Pushpita: "What do you mean, Aryan?"
Aryan: "You won't understand. Anyway, I'm getting late. I need to go to the city—Kachar Club for some work."
Abhi: "Alright then."
Smita: "Aryan, could you drop me home?"
Aryan: "Sure, no problem."
So, Aryan and Smita left, and Aryan took her to Bhattacharjee Bhawan, where she lived.
On the way, Smita spent the entire time sitting behind Aryan, gazing at him and smiling to herself.
After dropping Smita off, Aryan made his way to Kachar Club and then headed home to Udharbond.
Meanwhile, at Smita's house, she was very happy, as Aryan would now be studying with everyone under the same tutor. Thinking about him, she fell asleep that night.
Will anyone ever truly understand Aryan?
What will happen when Aryan discovers Smita's feelings for him?
How will Aryan react?
