It was a clear autumn night, with the moon shining bright, fireflies dancing, the stars numerous and the river milky. Gu Yuze gazed up at the distant stars.
He sighed, smiling with a hint of helplessness, "Today is the Mid-Autumn Festival after all…"
His father in his classic way always made sure that the lanterns were lit, the table was full and invited all the branch family relatives that had children so that Gu Yuze would find like-minded people to play.
A pity that the children coming already had their heads filled by their parents' voices. All the gazes focused on him were fear, awe and greed.
At first, when he was very little, Gu Yuze had done his very best to get along with these children. He did not want to disappoint his father but by the time he turned six, he began to ignore them, they had already made up their minds about him and he would never be able to change it in a single night.
