Chapter 63 - An Assassin

Gu Yuze paused and then as naturally as possible, he changed location. Had Han Ji finished the ritual or was in the middle of it? Brother Zi should be guarding him but there was a possibility that the blind Taoist master was not around.

Either way, he could not bring his problems to Han Ji's door.

He started going deeper and deeper into the Eastern path of the mountainous forest. The more he went in, the farther he moved from the sect.

Behind Gu Yuze, a blurry shadow followed, hidden with the trees and foliage.

He took a deep breath, as he moved, he gathered spiritual energy and circled it. He had gone over twenty minutes into the forest when he found a clearing.

From the corner of his eyes, he saw a dim light. His strained nerves relaxed quite a bit, an enemy in the shadows was the most dangerous. Now that the person that was following him had exposed himself, there was nothing to fear.
