"Junior Brother Gu, I don't read the Lingyuan Sect Rule Book for Fun."
Gu Yuze scoffed and then coughed.
"Junior Brother Gu." Gu Yuze heard a subtle change in the rhythm of his breathing. "I like music. Whether I feel stress or heaviness in my heart, I would play instruments."
Gu Yuze's eyes widened. He tried to imagine Han Ji on the stage with a guitar but the picture felt out of place. That forever-composed person letting loose to a guitar, Gu Yuze shook his head.
"Piano?" He felt like a piano is more suited to Han Ji's personality. He could imagine it, a white suit, long fingers on those white and black keys, sending the crowd into a frenzy. He would look so good, Gu Yuze could have imagined it.
"Zither."
"Old man." Gu Yuze teased him and laughed. The image he had conjured of Gu Yuze playing piano was immediately destroyed in favor of another image, one that was even more fitted to the Han Ji than he knew.
"Are you laughing?"
