Chapter 66 - CHAPTER 66 – THE LAIR OF THE CALAMITOUS BEINGS

Solanky, with the source-severing blade in hand, strode forward towards the other mid-stage calamitous entities. These grand ancestors were still reeling in shock at what had happened to the strongest member. They then came to their senses and started fleeing in all directions; the level of an entity being distance traversal beneath to the beyond realm existed like a huge, detailed cosmological map underneath their feet. A single stride could cross several multiverses, and a slight shift in their bodies' position could result in a change in position of several light-years from their original positions, which made it difficult for beings with much lower cosmological spatial-time traversal to keep up.

Most of these ancestors escaped to distant worlds and realms, which made it difficult for an entity on the same level as them to pinpoint their current location in the vast void or infinite source space, but to Solanky, who was a little stronger than them, with the help of his observation techniques, the escaping entities were only temporarily a breath away from death. Solanky smiled and looked in the direction of an already disappeared entity. The moment he did so, a faint radiant trail of light appeared within his vision, and it seemed to disappear in a certain direction in the void, which led to the infinite source space. Solanky hurriedly followed the tray and caught up with the calamitous entity, who seemed to be teleporting and reappearing and disappearing within the alternate timelines.

Solanky smiled and grabbed onto the faint radiant trail and activated the blue icy flames, which froze the radiant trail of light, as the trail of the teleporting entity's body, which was traversing across the timelines at an insane speed, began to slow down rapidly until it came to a total halt. When its body was stopped in its tracks, it turned its massive triangular head and saw a brilliant flash of blade energy streaking towards it at an incredible speed that surpassed its timeline traversal. But he was restrained; the only thing it said was, "Damn it, how did you find me, and why was I your target?" Solanky gave it a cold snort and swung the source-severing blade once more, and the entity's core was completely shattered. Unlike gods, devils, and other races of beings whose core transformed into a source of world energies that emerged with every inch of their bodies and spirits after they comprehended source energy to become entities, calamitous beings had to reach the peak of the entity level before their dense source energies melted with every inch of their bodies and spirits. This was a massive flaw on the part of the calamitous beings. Although they had cores, their cores were far more resilient and impossible to destroy even for entity-level beings who hadn't reached the late or peak stages.

Solanky waved his hand and collected the sliced corpse and core of the entity before taking a single step backwards and melding with the infinite source space. Reaching the entity level, Solanky observes the entire infinite source space with a single thought after he melds with the space. This was an advantage mid-stage entities had over the levels beneath them. By doing this, he became the infinite source space, and the infinite source space was him. He could sense and monitor everything within the various multiverses and timelines within the countless source worlds within the numerous infinite source worlds in the infinite source space. He did this to see if any other calamitous entity had escaped into the infinite source space so that he could directly appear within any part of the infinite source space, making him omnipresent when he melded with the infinite source space.

After doing this, Solanky could not detect any other entity aside from himself, so he disappeared and reappeared in the void region and noticed that all the radiant trails linked to each entity all seemed to move in a direction that was deeper within the void realm. Solanky smiled and kept the blade behind him before following the trails leading to the escaped calamitous entities. The trails led him to a huge abyss that was several billion light-years in diameter. The hole looked out of place because even with the radiant trails of light passing directly through it, there was no form of reflection or illumination around the edge of the abyss, which was pitch black and had an eerie aura faintly emanating from it. Solanky then jumped into the abyss. The moment he did so, the time and space around him began to distort, and the distortion intensified the further he descended into the abyss. Solanky looked around the walls of the abyss and noticed that the closely packed trails began to divert in several different directions into the walls of the abyss, and he even sensed a faint aura of the grand calamitous entity ancestor lingering on the walls of the abyss.

Solanky then ignored the calamitous entities, as he now knew the lair of the calamitous entities, and he struck them with anything he desired to, but he wanted to find what was emanating an eerie aura within the abyss, as he knew it wasn't from any of the calamitous entities.

The calamitous entities hiding in the dark caves on the walls of the abyss all quietly watched Solanky descend deeper into the abyss, completely ignoring them. Some of these entities were delighted to see Solanky completely ignore them as if he couldn't detect any trace of them. The seriously injured grand ancestor then watched Solanky with keen interest and asked himself, "Will he be able to enter that hidden space? I'm very curious to find what's on the other side, which is so terrifying that it even makes me shudder in fear. It must hide secrets only late-stage entities could access with their power. For more than 300 billion samsaras (1 samsara = 1 quadrillion years), I was never qualified to enter the hidden realm every time; the restrictions together with the eerie pressure and killing intent would mess with my mind and soul. I guess that realm isn't destined to be discovered by the calamitous entities. I hope I can steal a glance the moment he successfully succeeds in entering the hidden realm."

As the entities were watching Solanky, a black fog enshrouded him, and at that instant he disappeared from their view; no amount of sensing could detect the life essence or aura of Solanky. Back in the super infinite source world, the sitting supremo with his eyes shut opened them slowly and said, "This is the original forsaken realm. How did it appear in the realms below the beyond realm? I must go and investigate it for myself. The strength of the source-defying body isn't enough, because the weakest forsaken creature has the strength of a late-stage entity, and there might be transcendent entities lying dormant waiting to be aroused." After saying this, the supremo body disappeared and directly passed the restrictions of the hidden space, and none of the entities noticed his presence.
