"Run to the top of the tower!"
I commanded everyone.
The young prince gaped at my order.
"What?! How am I supposed to—HEY!"
Without waiting for the prince to finish voicing his concern, Shanny snatched the boy and put him on her shoulder.
With the prince safe in her grasp, the former maid leaped to the steep walls and planted her feet there as if it was a flat ground. Darius, Jonah, and Devisha immediately joined us.
Kroaahh!!!
[Mad Undead Lv.??? x896]
The infected were not far behind us. Some had poured into the enclosed square.
"To the top!"
I ordered my party again.
We then sprinted up the vertical surface as well as how a spider or an ant would, faster even.
The infected tried to give chase by climbing the walls or infiltrating the structure and raced us to the top.
But given how fast we were running, we would get there before them.
We just needed to take care of the enemies that were already at the top of the tower.
[Human Knight Lv.13 x3]
[Human Soldier Lv.11 x15]
Perching themselves at the peak were Jherendal soldiers. The ones to man this particular military structure.
Just like they did earlier, the Jherendals tried to bring us down from the wall by raining arrows at us.
Clang!
I easily blocked their projectiles again with my shield.
As the enemies were still nocking more arrows to their bows, my comrades quickly sent their counter volley.
Precise arrows from Darius, powerful spears from Jonah, and sharp daggers from Devisha.
All were sent with accurate aim that no soldier was left standing when we reached the top.
[Enchantment over!]
[Party 1's strength, agility, and stamina have returned to normal!]
[Time remaining until the decimation of the city:]
[00:17:39]
"Now what?!"
Shanny asked as she put the prince down from her shoulder.
The boy was dazed after being heaved like a potato sack to the top of the tower.
Kroaahh!!!
[Mad Undead Lv.??? x1,123]
The entire square below was flooded with infected.
Dozens of undead were scaling the watchtower's wall to reach us. Double the amount were heard rushing up the stairs below.
The entire structure would soon collapse under the horde's weight, killing us instantly.
A fate I would not let happen to us.
I turned to the west and saw a vast open square. The Sagonda Plaza.
[Mad Undead Lv.??? x323]
[Mutated Undead Lv.23 x6]
There were a few hundreds of infected and some of those giant beasts in the area.
But just beyond the plaza, lied the harbor.
"Prepare for transport!"
I announced to my comrades as I prepared a dimensional rune.
The reason why I made us go up the watchtower was so that I could teleport us to the Sagonda Plaza.
In case of teleportation, I would not need a beacon instrument for casting the spell.
As long as I could see my destination with my eyes, and under reasonable distance, it was doable. Just like how I did back in the Tamelan Square to rescue His Highness.
Kroaahh!!!
The infected were nearing the peak of the tower.
Some had even tried to budge the door leading up to the battlements.
"Ready for battle!"
I shouted.
My comrades raised their weapons for immediate confrontation.
However, I did not mean for them to fight the infected. Not the ones rushing up the tower.
I activated the dimensional spell and suddenly our environment shifted into a vast paved square scattered with hundreds of infected.
In an instant, I teleported us to the middle of the Sagonda Plaza.
We were soon welcomed by the area's deteriorating inhabitants.
Kroaahh!!!
[Mad Undead Lv.??? x323]
[Mutated Undead Lv.23 x6]
All the infected around the Sagonda Plaza immediately noticed us and began to charge at our party.
"Protect His Highness!"
I ordered my comrades as I threw the rest of the golem cores I brought with me and activated their spells.
[Elemental Attribute, Activation]
All fifteen of them.
['Serafina (★★★★)'s Golem Summoning has levelled up twice to level 4!]
['Serafina (★★★★)'s Intermediate Alchemy has levelled up to level 7!]
The magic cores glowed and hovered mid-air.
The rocks and pavement of the Sagonda Plaza ripped themselves out from the ground and flew to the cores, amalgamating into fifteen hunched giant humanoid figures.
The golems descended to the ground like meteors crashing to the realm.
Upon the sight of the rabid infected, the fifteen alchemy products stomped their pillar-like feet and charged at the hordes of living corpses.
The view of the moving rocks crushing the infected into unrecognizable mush brought great satisfaction to my eyes.
The countless hours of preparation in the lobby paid off.
"What's the plan now, Fina?"
Jonah asked as he was battling the infected alongside our golems and comrades.
The prince was standing cautiously in the middle of our formation, away from the direct confrontation.
"We'll be pushing our way to the harbor!"
I said to the shepherd while nodding to the wooden blockade beyond the plaza.
[Human Knight Lv.13 x115]
[Human Soldier Lv.11 x1,794]
[Viulan Knight Lv.21 x15]
The harbor was as guarded as I saw it last.
The infected that were trying to scale the blockade were shot down with arrows by the soldiers.
"Do we just charge in now? With all these golems, I think we can get past those many soldiers."
Jonah asked.
I shook my head to his suggestion.
"No. The golems won't be enough."
"Then how are we going to get there and escape?"
I turned my gaze to the east. Deeper into the fallen Tsuchi.
[Mad Undead Lv.??? x998,597]
[Mutated Undead Lv.??? x1,936]
An ocean of infected were rushing their way toward us.
Our current skirmish in the Sagonda Plaza was like a beacon to the living corpse army.
"Fina, you don't mean…"
Jonah asked with widened eyes.
I smiled at his reaction and began walking eastward, nearer to the tsunami of infected.
"Repel the hostiles in this plaza as I set everything for the plan. Keep His Highness safe."
"Very well! Just focus on what you're trying to do, Fina!"
Jonah said before getting back to the fight.
I turned my gaze to the hovering window at the edge of my vision as I grabbed my second mana potion and emptied the vial.
[Time remaining until the decimation of the city:]
[00:14:11]
Less than fifteen minutes for us to escape.
Should be doable.
Kroaahhh!!!!
[Mad Undead Lv.??? x998,597]
[Mutated Undead Lv.??? x1,936]
The huge horde of infected were getting closer to the Sagonda Plaza.
The army of living corpses began to pour into the vast square from the many roads of the surrounding districts. Hundreds of thousands of them.
As I watched the ocean of undead flooding toward us, I decided to check my arsenal of magic I had brought to face this third Quintal Trial.
