Chapter 1 - pt.1

On a typical school day, Olivia was sitting at her desk with her friends... 1- Alexander 2- David 3- Sophia 4- Marilyn.

They were all surrounding Olivia when Sophia said:

"Are you serious?!"

Marilyn: "As usual, this won't work..."

David: "You're imagining things, girl!..."

While everyone had neutral thoughts about Olivia's idea, Alexander looked at them uninterestedly and said:

"Aren't you bored yet, Olivia?"

Olivia looked at him and said defiantly: "It will work, and you'll see..."

Olivia stood up from her place and left the classroom, leaving everyone behind staring blankly at her shadow!

Some time passed after the school day ended, and Olivia was walking towards her house, her thoughts revolving around how she would be able to achieve what she wanted...

\Note\

Olivia is a 17-year-old orphan; she lives alone in her deceased parents' house because she strongly refused to go to the orphanage and give up her parents' home.

A very old woman, whose age was evident from her hunched back and wrinkled face, etc., intercepted Olivia.

Olivia looked at her in surprise after stopping walking and said nervously: "U-um... do you need help, grandma?.."

Olivia took a few steps back nervously and fearfully because the old woman approached her strangely and with even stranger and more terrifying looks!!

Olivia: "U-uh... i-is... there... something wrong?..."

The old woman interrupted me when she suddenly grabbed my hand, making me panic with fear, and I said: "W-what do you want? I'll scream!!!"

The old woman looked at me with no expression on her wrinkled face, then took my hand in her wrinkled, rough hands and placed something in it, saying before disappearing suddenly and frighteningly from in front of me, which terrified me greatly:

"Calm... serenity... focus... no fear... cat..."

She said those strange words before disappearing completely and suddenly from in front of me, leaving me alone to think about this thing and those strange and eerie words...

Focus? What does she mean?... She's definitely not a normal person!!... It seems there's a big secret this old woman is hiding!...

I headed towards my house while my mind raced with those words.

Twenty minutes later, I was sitting in my room after showering and getting dressed. I took the paper that strange old woman had given me. It was about three fifteen in the afternoon, and I opened the paper and read its contents...

^{ At sunset; in the night, with the moon rising, from which no light emanates at that time except its own; a black cat, an owner... who said it's just a cat?... Kill it and separate its head from its body, and throw its body away, for you will not need it, and take its head... At three o'clock in the middle of the night, turn off all the lights in the house, and there will be no light in the place except the light of a single candle that stays with you... Stand in front of the mirror, then bring a cup with water in it and a large plate that can hold the cat's head; prepare everything and stand in front of the mirror... Place the candle on the ground beside you and remember... focus... calm... serenity... no fear... Take the cat's head and pour the water from the cup over it, so that the plate is under the cat's head for all the water dripping from the cat's head to fall into the dish... And throughout this stage, you will continue to look into the cat's eyes without letting your mind wander no matter what happens, while repeating these words ( \\ \\ \\ ). And when the water finishes flowing into the dish, end your contact with the cat's eyes and pour the water from the dish onto the mirror... And blessed be your eternal hell...}^

"Note: Remember well... calm

....serenity...no fear...focus

....remember that"

From the Other World...

I finished reading the contents of the paper, folded it, and placed it on the table beside my bed, and said questioningly: "Calm... focus... no fear?... my eternal hell?!... From the other world!! What is this!!!!..."

I kept thinking about what I had read in that paper and opened my eyes in shock as I realized what had happened: "It's... it's the old woman!!... From the other world!!... That explains her sudden disappearance!!!... They... they responded to my requests!... Oh my God..."

I stood up from my bed while staring into space and said absentmindedly:

"Should I do it?... This is my chance, I must seize it... Marilyn, Alexander... I must tell them about this!!"

I walked towards the bedroom door, and before I could shout, I screamed in fright when that old woman suddenly appeared in front of me. I quickly stepped back in fear, my heart beating rapidly and intensely, and said: "W... what's happening?!... H..."

The old woman interrupted me and said: "According to the laws of the other world... it is strictly forbidden for the chosen human to disclose any information about the other world or... disclose the method of opening the gate between the two worlds."

I looked at her and said: "But... how did you know that?... I'll only tell my friends... they won't tell anyone about this..."

The old woman looked at me sternly and said: "You are forbidden to say that... If you even think about disclosing this matter to anyone in any way, your memory will be erased before you step through that door!"

She said her last words while pointing towards my bedroom door, while I was looking down at her feet in extreme shock and fear when I saw that they were "donkey" feet and not the feet of any ordinary human!!

The old woman noticed my gaze towards her feet and said coldly:

"I knew you weren't worthy of this task... but this is not in my hands, King 'Amrouk' has chosen you, and I have no authority to object to his words... And for you to succeed in your mission, you must get rid of your fear..."

I looked at her in surprise and said: "Mission?"

The old woman turned around and said before disappearing again from in front of me: "Everything in its time is beautiful..."

I reached out my hand towards her before she disappeared, trying to stop her, and said: "But!.."

I looked at her shadow after she disappeared from in front of me and muttered in a disgruntled whisper: "You still haven't answered my question..."

I sighed and turned around while thinking about it and said: "What do I do?"

Some time passed, it was four thirty, and I left the house while thinking about what was happening. I took a deep breath and said: "I know you're with me now... I will do it tonight... As for the cat... I'll get it now and kill it later... But... you will help me hide the cat's body."

I gasped in fright when I heard something fall behind me, but I kept my composure, closed my eyes for a few seconds, and said: "Okay... I'll take that as a sign of agreement."

Some time passed, and I was walking alone in the city streets while searching for that cat... While I was walking, I heard a cat meow behind me. I turned towards the sound and saw a black cat with green eyes looking at me with strange and eerie looks.

I slowly approached it and said while extending my hand towards it to grab it: "Good kitty... yes, don't run away... come to me..."

After a short while, I finally caught it, but when I stood up with the cat in my arms, I was about to step forward when the cat shocked me by biting my hand with a strange force that no ordinary cat possesses!... I screamed in pain and looked at the area where the cat had bitten me, as the cat had already escaped from my hands!... And I saw the cat bite mark bleeding!...

I shifted my gaze towards the cat, which was running away from me, and ran after it, trying to catch it: "No... no... no, don't go! Please!... You're my only chance!!!"

I continued running until the cat disappeared from my sight, and I couldn't catch up with it. I sat on the ground, hiding my face in my hands, and started crying, saying: "I failed... That old woman was right!... I am not worthy of that mission!.."

After a while, I returned home feeling frustrated. Two hours later, I was sitting in the living room, fiddling with my phone. It was exactly seven o'clock when the sound of the doorbell interrupted my playing with the phone, and I muttered to myself in surprise:

"Who would come to me now?"

I stood up from my place and headed towards the door in surprise and said loudly before opening the door: "Who's there?.."

I stood behind the door while waiting for a response, but I didn't receive any. I opened the door partially but didn't see anything, so I opened it all the way in surprise and annoyance, and said with a frown:

"Kids!"

My gaze fell to the ground, and I was surprised by a strange cardboard box in front of my door with no markings, receipt, instructions, or anything related to a normal package!

I picked up the box, went inside the house, closed the door behind me, placed the box in the middle of my living room, sat on the floor in front of it, and nervously reached out my hand towards it, gently pulling it closer to open it slowly and expectantly...

I screamed in terror and fright, and my heart almost stopped from the intensity of the fear when I saw what this box contained!

The box contained a cat's head covered in blood. I quickly moved away from the box, trying to calm myself. I sighed with trembling and a little fear and muttered to myself quietly and in a whisper: "Is this a new chance? To... continue?"

I looked around the living room with a sigh and said with feigned courage after taking a deep breath: "If anyone of you is here... make any sound."

Silence prevailed throughout the place while I was still waiting for their response. Indeed, after a few minutes, the TV turned on suddenly. I sighed calmly and said: "Okay... good... I promise you that I will live up to your expectations... I will do it tonight!"

I took a deep breath and headed towards the kitchen to start the preparations...

And exactly at midnight, at three o'clock, Olivia was standing in front of the mirror with everything prepared, and all the lights in the house were off. As for the silence... it was the master of the place!

At first, Olivia felt some tension and fear, so she sighed deeply and whispered to herself: "Come on, Olivia... don't be afraid... don't worry... you are strong!! You can do it!"

After a few seconds, I gathered my courage to look towards the mirror, specifically into my eyes, while the dim candlelight was what illuminated the place and gave it a little life!...

Olivia began to mutter the specific words, and a strange feeling overcame her, as if there was someone or people, literally, sharing the space with her... and with gazes from all directions fixed on her specifically!... Olivia tried to ignore this strong feeling as much as possible while continuing what she was doing, and as time passed, Olivia began to hear strange sounds behind her and catch glimpses of strange things in the mirror, but she adhered to what the old woman had told her: "Calm, serenity, focus, no fear."

Olivia continued to focus on the reflection of her eyes in the mirror while trying to ignore her fear, and after the required time passed, Olivia finished what she was saying and moved on to the next step...

She took the cat's head and raised it high, facing her, while blood was still dripping profusely from the head. She took the cup of water and began to pour it gradually over the cat's head, and the water dripped from the cat's head into the bowl while she looked into the cat's eyes and muttered different words, her voice gradually rising because of those strange sounds that surrounded the room. While she was repeating those words, she felt someone pulling her hair from behind and hot breaths on her neck, causing her voice to rise even more while she tried to calm herself and not let her attention wander. She tightened her grip on the cat's head even more, and finally, after a while, she finished and threw the cat's head away. She took the bowl containing the water mixed with the cat's blood, and both of Olivia's hands were covered in blood, and the blouse she was wearing also had some scattered blood on it...

Olivia poured the water forcefully onto the mirror and said in a nearly loud voice: "Let the gate open now!!"

/////////////////////////////

Suddenly, a bright light emerged from the mirror, causing me to close my eyes due to its intensity. After a few seconds, I slowly opened my eyes and looked at the gate that had opened inside the mirror!

I took a deep breath and encouraged myself to enter, stepping towards the mirror and entering it nervously and slowly. The image became clear in front of me, and I quickly turned around to see the gate behind me, only to find it closed. I looked around in disbelief. There were about four mirrors from all directions, but each mirror had a different shape from the others...

-"What's happening?"

-"Is this the other world?"

-"What do I do?"

My mind was full of many, many questions about this, but the series of my thoughts was interrupted by a strange male voice echoing throughout the place...

^ This test will determine your fate in this world; inside each mirror around you is a world different from the other. One of those worlds is the world you are here for. You must choose one of those mirrors; and to find the world you want, you must follow your intuition; the answer is easy, you only need to focus and think a little...; the answer will be in front of you, as clear as the sun; remember... you only have twenty seconds to choose!... If you do not choose within this time, you will return to your world again... but... with the loss of your memory... you will forget everything that happened during this time, from the day you met Mural Wey until this moment! ^

So that old woman's name is Mural Wey... Why are the names in this world strange and different from our names like this? Ugh, never mind... Olivia... focus on what's happening now!!!

Olivia was trying to figure out the source of this voice and who this person was, so she said: "But... who are you?"

Olivia heard that voice again replying:

"I am...
