Those moments you wish you could go back and rewrite history are just as important as reflecting on the mistakes you've made and learning from them, society makes you think because you've made a mistake they can make judgement on your characteristics and actions . No only the lord can judge my actions, who are we to cast the first stone when we have all sinned knowingly or unknowingly, the only person that can cast that stone is Jesus Christ himself . Well this is 2000's where police officers commit brutality and presidents and evil scientists scheme to over throw the poor and value the rich . We live in a society where skin color can be the problem but murder is the solution or raping women then forcing them to leave with the choices of having to carry a child. 100 years ago women fought for their rights and freedom and 100 years later history is repeating itself like always. Strange fruit by Billie holiday always comes to my mind when I look up at the news channel . But I also feel pity for my own community, racism isn't learn it's taught the same lesson applies to all races, how can we live and love one another if we're blinded by hatred?…

I sat my diary down and gazed out the window, the honeydew sky as it slowly turned into night , the cicadas were loud as ever almost gossiping about the humans they've seen or been around , the southern atmosphere was warming felt like home, but yet it wasn't home. My parents were millions miles away and we're angry about the man that I chose to marry, and so was his family, you see in the south they don't like interracial marriages for couples but me and my honey we fought for each other, I still remember my sister making a comment if you wanna be white so bad. Ha ha, was being White a bad thing because as far as I can, as I was born black, I have nothing by myself.
