A few days later, on a derelict planet.
Moldu invited Derick and the others to come "send off" the Borisin who had been educated by the Danlun Temple.
According to Moldu, the flesh and blood of these traitors shouldn't be wasted; it should become nourishment for the growth of the Borisin!
Derick's group was among them, and Robin was brought along as a matter of course.
Robin looked at Derick walking in front of her, feeling utterly perplexed.
The experiences of the past few days were truly baffling.
Every day, he would come to her room.
At first, Robin thought Derick could finally no longer hold back and, tired of maintaining his peaceful facade, was about to commit some sinful act.
She grew anxious, wanting to resist but knowing she lacked the ability. Whatever Derick wanted to do, she had no recourse but suicide.
Then she discovered Derick sitting cross-legged on her sofa, meditating with his eyes closed.
What is this situation!?
He didn't say a word, nor did he make any other moves.
And after meditating for a while, Derick opened his eyes again. Just when Robin thought he was about to do something, Derick took out his phone and started watching various videos.
On the Borisin planet, the network connecting the universe was also incredibly smooth.
While scrolling through his phone, Derick noticed Robin's reaction. He didn't quite know how to comfort her.
He figured that no matter what he said or did, Robin would think he was just deceiving her, so it was better not to say anything.
For several days in a row, Robin discovered that Derick seemed to be using her room as a lounge. He didn't interact with her, nor did he do anything to her.
Robin was tempted to ask Derick if the air conditioner in his room was broken, which was why he was staying in hers.
Of course, that was impossible. Given Derick's physical condition, never mind the heat, even the various terrifying particle rays in the universe wouldn't affect him.
Robin couldn't guess at all what he was doing.
However, there was one good thing: Derick had released all her companions.
These people didn't have much Abundance energy, so the Borisin weren't very interested in their flesh and blood. Letting them go was no big deal.
And today, Derick had dragged her along to send off these Borisin who no longer wanted to fight, which truly baffled Robin.
Three million people was not a small number. On the Earth of Derick's previous life, there weren't many cities with populations over three million.
And on Amphoreus, Okhema and Castrum Kremnos, and even the other tribes combined, were far from three million.
Derick felt that with these Borisin, saving and rebuilding Amphoreus would be much easier.
Derick scanned the crowd of Borisin and saw that, apart from a small portion of the old, weak, sick, and disabled, the majority were capable of fighting.
This was actually normal. Those who were truly weary of slaughter were inevitably the ones on the front lines who truly understood the destruction war could cause.
This was especially true for a race like the Borisin, who lived by plundering.
Derick also noticed that the Borisin monks from the Danlun Temple were all well-built and capable warriors.
Moldu approached the Borisin monks and asked in an inquisitive tone:
"Are all your people here? If so, I'll be sending you off."
"Mr. Moldu, yes, everyone who no longer wishes to live the traditional Borisin life is here," a Danlun Temple monk replied to Moldu.
"In that case, it's time for me to send you off!"
Hearing the monk's reply, Moldu's expression changed, and he burst into terrifying laughter. His expression was incredibly cruel, his eyes gleaming with malice.
"Mr. Moldu, why do you have such an expression?" the monk asked, his gaze fixed on Moldu.
"You didn't really think Lord Derick would be kind enough to let you leave, did you? We came here to kill all of you," Moldu shouted maniacally:
"Today, none of you will escape. Borisin can only be wolves; they cannot be vegetarians."
After Moldu finished speaking, a circle of Borisin warriors appeared, surrounding the three million people. They held their weapons, ready to attack at any moment.
"You're unarmed now. Just wait to be slaughtered by us."
Seeing this, Robin's legs couldn't help but tremble.
What... what on earth is happening?
Robin's gaze turned to Derick.
Deceiving others, luring them together, and then killing them all.
Is this your true nature, Derick?
Truly the War Chief of the Borisin; his methods are so ruthless.
Yet, seeing so many Borisin warriors appear, the monks from the Danlun Temple didn't show much surprise.
The lead monk looked at Moldu, then at Derick, his eyes filled with sorrow.
"Coming from the Borisin myself, I naturally know your character. For this, we have also made preparations. We hoped we wouldn't have to use them, but it seems we have no choice now."
After the monk said this, the Borisin behind him all drew concealed weapons.
They armed themselves and faced the surrounding Borisin warriors.
"Our forces are concentrated now, and this planet is in a remote area. It will be easy to leave. Mr. Derick, although I am furious at your treachery, to reduce casualties on both sides, how about we both stand down?" the monk said to Derick and Moldu.
Hearing the monk's words, Moldu instinctively looked at Derick.
Derick shook his head slightly at Moldu.
Moldu felt emboldened.
"I don't think so. No matter what, we're keeping you here."
Glancing at Derick again, Moldu felt confident.
"So what if you have weapons? Do you really think you have the strength to threaten the War Chief? Now, if you lay down your weapons, we can still give you a quick death."
That was impossible.
They would surely use the cruelest methods to kill these three million people.
The monks didn't lower their weapons, and neither did the remaining three million.
"Attack! I'm ready," Cipher shouted from the side.
Hearing Cipher's words, Moldu felt a little dissatisfied.
I take orders from the War Chief. What right does a human woman like you have to command me?
But thinking about the relationship between Derick and Cipher, he still followed her words, waving his hand to order the surrounding Borisin warriors to attack.
The surrounded people prepared to counter-attack.
The battle between the two sides was about to erupt.
But just at that moment, the sound of explosions rang out.
To the surprise of both the surrounding Borisin warriors and the three million Borisin inside, the weapons in the hands of the surrounding warriors violently exploded.
The bodies of all the surrounding Borisin were engulfed and ignited.
The life force of Borisin warriors was strong, but these explosives were specially modified; even their vitality couldn't withstand it.
"What... what is going on? And Der... Lord Derick! You... didn't you say you were prepared?" Moldu asked Derick, his face full of disbelief.
"Yes, I was prepared," Derick nodded.
Then he instantly appeared behind Moldu and stomped him to the ground.
"It's just that, when did I ever say I was prepared to help you Borisin?"
A smile appeared on Derick's lips.
Cipher swayed over to Derick's side and said playfully, "How are my thieving skills? I secretly planted explosives in all of your weapons, guaranteeing they'd blow up the moment you fought, and not a single one of you noticed."
Derick continued speaking to Moldu:
"Why would I give up being a respectable Commander of the Yaoqing to associate with wild dogs like you? Am I a fool? From the very beginning, I never intended to become your so-called War Chief."
Moldu shouted at Derick in disbelief, "What's so great about being some crappy Xianzhou Commander! Can it even compare to being the War Chief of the Borisin?"
"Of course. Because that is wealth we create with our own hands, not plundered from others. Only that way can I be at ease."
Derick said with certainty.
"What's the point of all this? Just to let these three million people leave?" Moldu was still unconvinced.
After all, getting these people away didn't require Derick to go to such lengths.
"Of course not."
Derick kicked Moldu's limbs, infusing them with the power of the Death Titan, causing his life force to gradually fade.
"We came here to wipe all of you Borisin out in one fell swoop. To completely eradicate you scourges of the universe."
Derick's communicator rang.
"My good apprentice, you're right. We are going to eliminate all these Borisin." Feixiao's voice came through.
"Teacher, we must act quickly. If we're too late, all these Borisin will escape."
Derick said to Feixiao.
"Don't worry, they can't escape. Our fleet has completely blockaded this star system," Feixiao assured Derick.
"So you were prepared all along!" Moldu felt himself stammering.
But then he realized something and said in disbelief, "No, that's not right. If you were using a hidden communication channel, we would have been able to detect it. It's impossible. I didn't know a thing."
It was impossible for Moldu not to have been wary of Derick.
He really couldn't figure out how Derick had transmitted the signal.
"Hmph, hmph, that's my ability!" Cipher said smugly from the side.
The camouflage effect of the Trickery Titan was indeed very powerful.
