Adyr looked down and checked the residents of his 2 lands. His focus moved from one territory to the other, calm and methodical, like he was taking inventory.
The Rank 4 Spark Citadelith was rooted in the land where darkness ruled. Its presence felt heavier than before, and it looked eerier and grander than it used to, perfectly adapted to the new environment.
Its feeding pattern, where its meal had once been the fear of its sentinel victims that it had to pull through its doors, had disappeared. It had reached a state where it could sustain itself by using the malice in the air as a food source. It drew that malice in naturally and settled into the ecosystem like it had always belonged there.
When Adyr looked to the other side, the most important place he had there was where his suicide bees lived. The section felt calmer and more alive than before.
