Hearing her refer to herself as Empress, Alex immediately understood her game. He decided to play along.
He cracked his neck and stretched, letting his limbs loosen.
"Forgive me, my Empress. But it seems this humble serf of yours will have to be… rough tonight."
"Oh…? You think you can," Zora said, a sly smile spreading across her face.
Her cold mana swirled around her, dropping the room's temperature by several degrees.
Alex's flame mana responded instinctively, coiling around him as a shield, countering the chill.
"The cold and moisture radiating from you tells me you need… a 'deep' warming up. What kind of serf would I be if I didn't oblige…"
