Chapter 1 - The Boy Who Returned

In a cloudy weather four people surrounded a person with a thick wooden stick in their hands and a looking a dishevelled person who is groaning on the ground and left.

Person eyes who is on the ground is going hazy and there is unwilling in his eyes, slowly forced to close his eyes and become unconscious.

Pain.

The sound of rustling leaves is floating through the window. A thin ray of sunlight slipped between the torn curtains, landing on boy's face, pulling him from uneasy sleep.

His eyelids fluttered open, and for a moment, confusion clouded his mind. The roof was different, the bed was Bigger, and he was in a Luxurious room.

"Where… am I?"

The voice that escaped his lips was wrong — thinner, lighter, with that awkward sharpness boys had during their teenage years.

Arjun shot up, looking down at his scrawny arms and bony legs, all wrapped in a cricket jersey. His heart thudded in his chest. The last thing he remembered was…

Blood. Boots. Betrayal.

That night outside the stadium, when he confronted the corrupt selectors — only for his so-called best friend to sell him out. What followed was a beating so brutal, he didn't survive.

"I died."

But here he was, very much alive — and very much younger.

He stumbled toward a Dressing table and looking himself into a large mirror. A 16-year-old face stared back at him. Messy black hair, sharp nose, clear but slightly malnourished skin, and a pair of eyes that held far too much rage and exhaustion for a kid this age.

"What the hell…" he whispered.

The calendar hanging next to the door caught his eye.

January 20, 2008.

Arjun's fingers trembled. 2008 — a full 17 years back.

He looked himself again in the mirror, if he is healthy person instead of malnourished he will look far more handsome.

His gaze swept across the Big room — a luxurious room with all the amenities . Cricket gear lay scattered across the floor, along with a pile of Branded clothes, a alarm clock, and a pair of Branded sports shoes. Looking at the thing he joked with Himself. "what is this I am a Bill Gates or what in this Life"

Suddenly his head started hurting with pain and all the memory came rushing back. This was his life in this timeline. Arjun Tiwari — a 16-year-old orphan from Ahmedabad, living alone in his house, his parents passed away at the early age in a car accident left him this house and money from life insurance claim.

He realised on a very early age that if he didn't squander the money he can use this money for a lifetime living a normal life. His Father was a working-class person in a pharmaceutical company in a Ahmedabad. He had a Job of Marking manager he had a good salary so he bought a Double storey Villa Costing around 14 Lakhs in 2002.

The pricing of the house at that time in Ahmedabad was very low comparative to the time. He completely remember that this kind of house costs around 3-4 Cr in 2025.

His house has Basement, Ground Floor, First Floor and Terrace. Basement is completely empty on a ground floor there is Living room, Dining Room, Modern Kitchen, Bedroom with a attached bathroom.

On First floor there is 3 bedroom one is a master room with balcony which is bigger compared to other room, other two has same feathers but comparatively it's smaller. Both room have balcony and attached bathroom.

And above that good big terrace where you can see a beautiful star in a night.

Overall it was good house

Looking at the house he muttered "thank God atleast he doesn't have to sleep on the road after coming back 17 years back to this person body.

Looking at his memory which is totally integrated "Haha atleast this stupid person did one good job that he kept this house"

After his parents died he got the life insurance claim of 1 Cr which is considered a very rich person in india. First Job he did was to complete the EMI of the house by direct payment.

His parents died in 2004, 2 years after buying the house, he still had the outstanding payment of 12 Lakhs, he was only 12 at that time so he took a help of his father office friend named Anand Uncle to settle this process.

Then he fixed deposit (FD) 80 Lakhs at 8% interest rate yoy basis which will be 1.08 Cr next month and kept around 8 Lakh for his daily life. Out of which he has spend 6L in 3 years in for daily lifestyle. Currently 2L in the bank account.

"Wow so much money bro as per my last life I will be never be able to earn this money in 10 life times"

" And this Stupid guy is a big squander he spent spent 6L in 3years. I used to earn 3000 Rs partime per month. Thank God atleast he didn't kept his money in his bank account atleast earned some interest through FD."

Although he is too conservative but I can understand it may be because he left his parents at early age and he don't want any turbulent in his life. Thank God I have come in 2008 it's one of the perfect opportunity to invest in stocks due to US crisis.

Hehe I will be in Forbes least by 2025 just doing nothing by only investing. Stocks, Crypto, Real Estate, etc. HAHAHA.

Good finally atleast in this life I don't have to take tension of money so can fully focus on my dream.

Remembering in his last time he had very hard life he was an orphan living in a small compact room in a orphanage in a city lucknow. He was working part time in a restaurant and focusing on his dream to become a Cricketer.

In India every child once had a dream of becoming cricketer similarly he has the same dream and he had worked hard for his dream. He had played for Under19 team and he was very good candidate for a selection of a Ranji Team.

He knew the selector was a corrupt and day before selection, the selector called him to meet and ask for the money if he want to get selected, because he was already prepared he recorded the conversation. He told the selector that he don't have any money and left.

Later he met his bestfriend Nikhil who is with him childhood and they were preparing for this opportunity together. But that day his friend with 3 other people beat him and because of which he died and the reason was after he told about the recording, he made a deal with a selector for a spot in Ranji team and betrayed him.

Thinking about that he couldn't control his anger, the person he trusted the most, betrayed him for the spot of Ranji team without considering the long friendship and he didn't just took the recording instead he beat him so severely that he died.

Looking back he think he was too naive he had no god father, no cricket academy training and he was not from any rich family who can help to pull strings for him. He just had an burning passion for cricket.

"This… this is really my past," Arjun murmured.

Now he is in new body of a 16 year old where he is young and also he has not to worry about money he can focus on his dream, although it will be hard because in this life also he has no background who can help him.

looking back to his memory of this life because he is a talented child who is an Allrounder

: Batsman and Fast Bowler. He went for a trial for an Under 19 State team but he was only given two balls to play and only one ball to bowl and he was kicked out telling he has no talent.

After that he became depressed locked himself into the room without considering his health and he was so depressed he only eat food once in 2 day or 3 days this way he had lived for 3 months because of which he has currently malnourished body. But he couldn't find the reason for his failure and he became more depressed because of which one day he took many sleeping pills and committed suicide.

After then he came to this body.
