Chapter 7 - Chapter 7: The Thing(!)

Both were omnipresent and omnipotent. Both knew each other's abilities and each other's importance.

Sati was annoyed because someone could hide something from her.

Sati was annoyed because she could not detect the killer of her son.

She was annoyed because she loved him all the same, even after finding out that he's the thing she feared and despised the most.

That's why Sati knew the moment after she'll punch him, he won't die, and she'll eventually forgive him. Sati knew everything that was going to happen as she prepared to unleash the power in her hand, which didn't have any limit.

That's why she was making herself ready to live for that exact moment. She wanted to discuss things after that one moment, which'll blow off all her steam.

Shiva waited patiently. He knew everything that was happening in his lover's mind. He knew that he was in for a moment of vulnerability. He knew no matter how high he raised his defense as of now, he'll feel the pain. He knew that he'll regret even coming to existence for a moment.

But Shiva was the 'thing.

Shiva was created by the soul of the singularity, the system, to make her complete.

Shiva was created with all the patience and elegance that ever existed. He was the beginning and end of the singularity, which were never meant to exist.

Shiva knew his reason for existence was to complete his beautiful wife. He knew she now existed to complete him, and that she can never truly hate him if he told her the reason of corrupting the existence itself.

All he had to do was endure that singular moment of pain. Even though Shiva didn't really care about pain and other humane things, He knew he was going to be in an awful state for a moment.

And he knew she was ready to listen to him after her anger calmed down.

Both Characters of my web novel were aware of everything that was ….

SATI AND SHIVA: HEY! DID YOU JUST BREAK THE FOURTH WALL????

The author tried to bring his useless humor to this important moment. Which was not supposed to happen when these guys were involved. [SIGH~]

(Suddenly, Author felt a sudden chill down his spine as it felt like both of his crisis level character were staring down at him.)

(The author's mind went blank. His hands stopped moving. His vision became more focused. He didn't care about his surrounding noise. The author regretted adding drama to his novel when these two characters were involved.)

(Suddenly, He grabbed his heart, which started aching a lot. The author fell from his chair backwards and the lights in his room suddenly started going on and off. The fan started shaking like some earthquake hit his room. He couldn't say a word from his mouth. His ears went cold, his head felt like it was going to explode. He couldn't think straight.)

(The author lied still like that on the floor for the next three hours, agonizing in pain yet unable to shout for help, unable to lose consciousness. Unable to catch his breath, with a pain like his heart being pearled by one small needle continuously for the next three hours. The author lied still, unable to move an inch. His hands grabbing his chest where his heart resided. And strangely, no one came to help him. His family members were right behind his room. But, no one came to check on him after hearing the sound of the fall.)

And after waking up, the author didn't touch his laptop. He was traumatized. He didn't come to his room that day? He didn't say anything to his family. He was not going to speak of a single word. He had learnt something, to never mess with his characters. He won't do the same mistake again. The author took a hiatus before he even started.

Ahem! THE STORY MUST GO ON..

Whether there is anyone left to write it or not,

Whether anyone is reading it or not.

The story must go on..

Both entities knew everything that was going to happen from now on...

And after don't know how much time passed in that timeless, space-less place, the moment came.

Shiva gasped for a bit. The excitement of the moment couldn't leave his non-human heart. His heart anticipated a certain type of joy which comes after waiting for a long, long period of time. He was ready to die a hundred times in one single moment without losing his life.

Sati accepted the fact that the moment, which she didn't wish to come, finally came. Sati stopped increasing the limit of her aura in her right hand. She was ready to give the bastar(*oops), she was ready to give the THING a piece of her mind.

She re-imagined everything from the moment she met her husband till the death of her son. All it took her was one moment to run every single scenario in her head. She wanted the raw emotion she felt when she saw the lifeless body of her son. She wanted to direct the raw anger onto the thing in front of her. She was royally pissed now. The raw anger which obligated everything was accumulated in her right hand. She had enough of this long and very, very, very stretched intro from the human who was writing this stupid chapter;

[ME: OOPS* DRAGGED IT TOO MUCH. THANKS FOR THE WARNING!]

Shiva took a deep cosmic breath... and engulfed 99.99% of nothingness in him. He was now ready to die an infinite time.

Sati was ready to kill him an infinite time.

After a long stretching of nearly 1000 words in this chapter, that moment had arrived.

Sati punched the 'thing' in its gut. All it took was one singular moment. And an explosion very, very, very, very big emerged. A shiny yellow light covered everything that was there. The 'thing', which was as dark as a void, shone in bright yellow color now. And the explosion that happened in that moment was later known as Big Bang. This resulted in the creation of everything. A new everything which wasn't planned before, which didn't need anyone's intervention to form. Which was formed from a maxed out aura and an almost maxed out nothingness (99.99%).

Shiva. He was ready to take the hit. But when he was actually hit. It took out every type of nothingness he had engulfed before this moment. He thought that was it, Even though it was really painful, but he was relieved that it was over. But, even the almighty 'thing' could not predict the aftereffect of the gut-punch.

The gut-punch lived for one singular moment. It hit his gut, a bright light of everything came out along with a dark matter from Shiva's mouth which was every part of nothing he had ever engulfed. And the mixture of those two entities resulted in the formation of everything which exists now. Matter and Antimatter.

But what's this? Shiva was still feeling pain? The pain from that hit hasn't faded away? Shiva was surprised. He was still in pain. And the pain was unbearable. It was uncomfortable. It's like there are multiple pins picking on every part of his fiber. He removed his human form. He turned into the dark 'thing'. His true form. But the pain remained.

The pain was still there? But How?

Shiva returned to his human form.

He saw a satisfied look in Sati's face.

Shiva smiled awkwardly. The moment had passed. For everyone except Shiva.

Shiva had a gut feeling, but he didn't know what she did to him. He wasn't sure how she was able to do this, even though both were almost similar in power. Shiva was really curious and a tad bit terrified by Sati.

Sati skipped time to the moment where her son met 'the thing'. The thing wasn't there and her son was a bit surprised to see his mom right beside him after he washed up his face.

He greeted his mother and gave her a hug. That's when Sati was relieved.

[THAT'S WHEN THE CREATOR WAS RELIEVED! THAT'S WHEN THE WORLD WAS RELIEVED.]

Sati felt satisfied with this outcome and smiled back at her sweet, lovely Z.

[SORRY! BREAKING THE WALL AGAIN, BUT OUR Z REALLY DOESN'T HAVE AN IDEA HOW MUCH OF PAIN IN THE BRAIN HE HAS BEEN FOR SOME PEOPLE.

THANK GOD THIS ARC'S COMING TO AN END!!!!

REALLY! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR ENDING THIS ARC. IT'S BEEN A REALLY TOUGH RIDE FOR ME.]

After hugging her son, Sati came back to the living room. There sat her husband, whom she loved and the only person who could dare to love her back.

The living room was a typical Indian style room. It had a wooden table in the middle and two long sofas on the other side of the room. The room was cozy and the deep yellow paint gave it a warm and comfortable look. There was a TV in the opposite direction of the Sofas. And the ground was your common Indian ground, it wasn't tiles.

(Don't know. Don't ask. How tf do people give such detailed descriptions? How can I increase my vocabulary? Dammit, Sokomon. You got a long way to go.)

On the sofa sat Shiva. He got a lil surprised when he saw Sati, but soon calmed down and realized that her eyes had turned back to normal.

Sati smiled when he saw her husband, and sat beside him, taking his arm and wrapping it around her neck and shoulders, making a comfy place for herself.

Shiva smiled and accommodated to give her a gentle warm hug. Both basked in this moment, as they were the only ones who knew just how much time had passed since the time she obliterated him and went to find more about him.

After some time passed, Sati asked.

"How were you able to go unnoticed till now?"

"I love you. But I needed to do something about the existence you made. It's not stable and eventually, it will collapse. Because, it's made from the sacrifice of the real one. That's why I needed to do something about it."

So, I turned into a regular human and came before you. And as I knew it, both of us realized that we were incomplete without each other.

To hide my powers, I gave a separate identity to my aura, which you called the 'thing' and I kept him hidden inside me using 100% of his aura.

That way, My all aura was used to hide my aura, resulting in fooling even you, dear."

Shiva replied as he hugged her a bit more tightly and gave her a kiss on the forehead.

Something clicked in Sati, and she realized the whole story. She gave him a hug and asked,

"Is it still painful?"

Shiva felt a small shiver and said, "Yeah! How did you do that? I thought that moment was only supposed to be for that moment."

Sati smiled as she kept hugging him and started passing a warm yellow aura inside him.

There was a dim yellow light which was warm, surrounding both of them.

The light vanished after some time passed. Shiva now felt much better compared to before. The pain was still there, but it was endurable.

Sati said, "Even though you had a valid reason, you still messed with the singularity. So, there's no way you're getting out unscratched.

I locked that singular moment when I punched you with your timeline. So, as long as you exist, you're going to feel that pain."

Shiva had a hunch about it, but he was amazed that her spell was irreversible.

" Well, you can try for eternity and you will still feel the pain. But I've given my aura to your human form now, enough to make it endurable as long as you're human." Sati said.

[I CAN'T DO THIS. LET'S TURN BACK TO OLD DIALOGUE FORMAT.]

Shiva: So, The moment I turn into 'the thing'... (silence entails) [IDK WHAT'S ENTAILS HERE, SOUNDED FUN SO JUST WROTE IT DOWN.]

Sati: You'll get used to it. Don't mind the small stuff.

Z enters the room and says, " Wow! What's the occasion? You're all lovey dovey. Count me in too..."

And Z gives them a big hug.

That night, Z slept like a log, and ended up not waking up early in the morning.

That night, Sati slept like a log, and ended up sleeping in like a log.

That night, Shiva slept like a log, and ended up not being able to go to his work.

ME:

That night, I slept like a log, and am going to sleep like a log for the next week.

This was too brain-damaging for my poor self.
