Noah groaned, yanking his head down and ruffling his hair. "Why would you? How could you choose to be friends with the woman you isolated? Your wife, no less! This is insane!" His voice rose, boiled with rage and exasperation, thunder rolling in the room, making Zane's shoulder quiver.
