Noah drove with Jason toward the Morgan family's estate.
The entire ride, Noah remained glued to his phone, scrolling through updates about Jared Morgan's ongoing divorce battle.
"That man finally found a worthy opponent..." Noah muttered, more to himself than anyone else.
But Jason, seated beside him at the wheel, heard every word. He cast a quick glance at Noah. "Who's that man you're talking about here?"
"Who else? Jared Morgan, of course… he's going to lose everything. And honestly, I couldn't care less. In fact, I couldn't be happier," Noah said as he slipped his phone back into his jacket pocket.
Jason let out a short laugh, looking at Noah before returning his eyes to the road and accelerating toward the city's elite district.
"He's an idiot for trying to challenge you, Noah," Jason remarked.
Noah took a slow breath, trying to stay calm.
