Touch Me wasn't like Sin.
There were no theatrics in the opening seconds. No baiting, no dramatic pause for audience engagement, no careful narrative arc to make the fight look cool.
He moved the instant the countdown ended.
[3...]
His boots flexed.
[2...]
His grip tightened on the shield and sword—both divine-tier, both reinforced for bone-crushing, soul-rattling melee brawls.
[1...]
His clanmates screamed some embarrassing chant in the background.
"GLOWSTICK KNIGHT! GLOWSTICK KNIGHT!"
He'd kill them later.
[FIGHT!]
And like that, Touch Me was in motion.
His opponent—a hulking, red-plated demon knight named Infernas—was no amateur. A finalist of the Midgard server, a PvP specialist with flame-based attacks and burst-speed dashes designed to overwhelm tank builds.
Touch Me didn't flinch.
He didn't need to.
His build was the definition of a spike.
No balance. No fluff. No wasted stats.
Touch Me had poured everything into two categories: HP and Physical Damage. His magic stats were abysmal, mana pool a joke. He had enough MP for maybe two buffs and a taunt. Everything else?
Fists.
Shield.
And raw, relentless pressure.
Infernas came in hot.
His first combo, Hellfire Chain, was one of the nastiest early burst setups in the game. A series of flaming slashes that applied burn stacks on each hit.
But Touch Me didn't dodge.
He blocked.
With a clanging, metal-splitting wall of divine-tier equipment, he tanked the entire combo, his health bar dipping only slightly.
Then came his counter.
[Skill Activated: Shield Breaker Strike]
A massive bash, imbued with physical bonus damage from his custom enchantments, slammed into Infernas' chest plate. Not even a second passed before Touch Me followed up with:
[Skill Activated: Meteor Lancer]
He threw his sword.
Literally.
The weapon left his hand, spinning like a drill of light, crashing into the demon's legs with enough force to stagger and knock him back several meters.
Infernas barely managed to stay standing.
"TOUCH ME! TOUCH HIM HARDER!" screamed Bukubukuchagama from the crowd.
"THAT'S OUR GLOWY BOY!" Herohero howled.
"I'M GOING TO BAN YOU ALL!" Touch Me yelled back mid-fight, blocking a fire spear with his knee.
"FOCUS, MAN!" Peroroncino shouted. "YOU'RE FAMOUS!"
"I WASN'T BEFORE YOU STARTED CHANTING!"
Back in the match, Infernas was adjusting.
Smart player. He realized Touch Me's tank build was vulnerable to DoTs (Damage over Time), especially flame effects. So he switched tactics—activating a flame aura and burning zone that dealt persistent heat damage in a radius around his body.
Touch Me knew this game. He didn't back off.
He walked through the fire.
Health ticking down. Buffs ticking up.
Infernas tried a last-minute desperation spell: [Hell Gate Rising]—an AOE that summoned flaming swords from the sky, pinning a player for 3 seconds.
Touch Me was hit.
Locked in place.
The crowd gasped.
Infernas prepped his finisher.
But Touch Me just grinned.
Because the lockdown was only three seconds.
And during that, his cooldowns refreshed.
[Skill Activated: Titan's Fury]
A passive trigger. Activated when HP dropped below 40%.
Doubled physical damage.
Doubled stun resistance.
Doubled knockback resistance.
[Skill Activated: Final Bastion Combo – Variant: Light's Retort]
A combo chain Touch Me had practiced over 500 times.
He dashed out of the trap, shoulder-bashed Infernas in the ribs, backflipped off a summoned shield (god bless utility items), caught his sword mid-air, and slashed straight through the demon's upper shoulder.
Critical Hit.
Infernas staggered.
Touch Me stepped forward.
And that's when it happened.
[Cosmetic Effect: JUSTICE HAS ARRIVED]
A blinding column of holy light erupted from behind Touch Me, forming four massive golden letters in glowing script:
"JUSTICE HAS ARRIVED"
Everyone watching flinched.
Infernas winced.
For a full second—maybe less—his opponent's vision blurred.
Touch Me blinked in-game. Realized what just happened.
"Oh my god—no way."
He took the opening.
[Final Strike: Judgment Cross – Enhanced Variant]
A glowing cross-shaped slash erupted from his sword.
It pierced Infernas.
Straight through his chest.
Infernas dropped to his knees. His health bar hit zero.
Touch Me won.
Back in the clan base, chaos erupted.
"IT FINALLY WORKED!"
"THE BLINDING LIGHT! THE MEME COSMETIC—IT WASN'T A JOKE!"
"YOU USED YOUR SHINY COSMETIC TO WIN A WORLD TITLE—YOU ABSOLUTE GOBLIN."
"I'M GOING TO DIE," Touch Me moaned.
"You deserve that title," said Ulbert, crying with laughter. "That was divine justice. Divine comedy."
"Get it?" said Peroroncino. "Divine?"
"I'M GOING TO BURN THIS CLAN TO THE GROUND."
"After the award ceremony," Sin said calmly. "You're a two-time world champion now. You've got standards to maintain."
Touch Me's post-match interview was the most-viewed stream of the day.
"So tell us, how did you secure the final blow?"
Touch Me stared dead into the camera.
"...I blinded him."
The internet exploded.
World Champion Titles:
Absolute Sin — World Champion of Asgard
Touch Me — World Champion of Midgard
Clan Nine's Own Goal had just achieved what no other player guild had.
Two World Champions.
In one party.
And they were all monsters.
Literally.
