Chapter 96 - YOU NEED TO HELP HER

By the time Anna was dragged out of the company, there were already swarms of reporters, waiting outside. Their cameras began to flash like lightning as microphones were shoved forward.

"Miss Anna, why did you tamper with company funds?" one barked, his voice sharp over the commotion.

"Is it true you siphoned money for personal gain?" another demanded.

"Do you have a statement about your alleged fraud?"

Anna couldn't say a word, as the barrage of questions felt endless, each flash momentarily blinding her. 

What was happening was baffling. One minute, she was in her office, signing paperwork, and the next minute, she was being dragged out of her company like a criminal.

Her heart raced with disbelief. Her chest rose and fell as though she had been struck in the gut, leaving her breathless and disoriented. She had known the day would come when enemies would strike, but never had she imagined the attack would be this sudden, this ruthless, or so publicly staged.
