Chapter 110 - THE WEDDING DAY

Aidan stood before the tall mirror, his reflection staring back at him with a strange mix of defiance and anticipation. 

He was dressed impeccably for the occasion, in an Italian suit tailored to perfection, every button fastened with care. His tie, was sharp against the crisp shirt, and it rested neatly against his chest.

The day was his supposed wedding day.

This was supposed to be the day he married Helena, with the exact ceremony his mother had dreamed of, and the union she had insisted upon.

A smirk spread across his face at the thought of the plan in place. If the Queen wanted to be stubborn, if she insisted on bending everyone to her will, then they would turn her pride back on itself. They would play with her intelligence.

The more Aidan thought about it, the more he saw sense in Helena's suggestion. It was a great idea, giving him more time to plan Anna's rescue.

Helena had agreed and had sworn to give him Anna's location the moment the wedding ended.
