"You clearly want a boyfriend, but at the same time you're really resistant toward men."
This question has bothered Ning Chu for a long time now. She had been curious ever since freshman year.
At first, she assumed it was because Lily had severe social anxiety and generally disliked interacting with strangers or making new friends.
But later she realized that even around Wang Jie and Zhang Shaoqing—people they attended class with and hung out around regularly—Lily still maintained that cold, unapproachable expression. Comparatively speaking, she only relaxed around Wen Yang.

Hearing that, Ning Chu froze. She didn't dare continue asking and only let out a guilty little "oh," before sympathetically wrapping an arm around Lily's shoulder.

But she quickly realized something and turned around, only to see Lily blushing as she silently took a few steps back to distance herself from the two of them.
Although Lily didn't understand the hidden meaning behind "midnight snack," combining the two sentences together and looking at their expressions, she could more or less tell the conversation wasn't child-friendly.
Lily heard it!
Embarrassed and annoyed, Ning Chu kicked Wen Yang.
"We'll talk about this at home… Why are you saying this stuff outside?"
But Wen Yang's suggestion…

Just imagining the scene made her excited! Though it was definitely way too perverted…
