Andrew made his way up the stairs, his strides each perfect and deliberate before knocking on the door. Cassie opened the door, her face calm as she welcomed him. "Hello darling." A thin smile forming on his face, embedding a kiss on her forehead.
"Hello." Her's was much quieter and meeker, his response to it was a light chuckle. Welcoming him in, Andrew made their way to the sitting room. "It looks like you already have plans for moving." His words curious as he looked around.
Most of what she had appeared packed, clearly ready to move on. "Well this I'm not exactly fond of the of the things that I did here so chose to move elsewhere." Her words hiding the frustration that he saw through. He could sense the eagerness in her voice ready to get to Ash.
"How about I make us something to eat?" Rising to his feet , she followed to the kitchen. The process that followed was an unnerving silence between the two, usually foreign however he knew that he had to give her what she wanted.
