Everyone's eyes widened, fixated on Loki. Five A-class cards, six types of designated pocket cards.

This player... was this an ordinary player?

The air hung heavy, thick with unspoken tension.

Silence reigned. The person holding Loki's Collector's Book suddenly understood. His hands trembled as he returned the book, his face contorted with fear.

"I-I'm so sorry! I was just joking, I didn't really want to steal your cards!"

Their leader bowed deeply, offering a sincere apology.

The sheer number of cards the opponent possessed, and how he'd acquired them, indicated he was no ordinary player.

They could handle average players, but confronting someone as powerful as Loki was suicidal.

Loki looked up. "Not taking my cards? Fine then."

The Collector's Book vanished. Loki began to walk away.

Seeing that Loki seemed to have let them go, the group breathed a collective sigh of relief.

At that precise moment, Loki vanished. Click click click! A series of freezing sounds filled the air. Loki reappeared behind them, ten ice statues forming one after another. A faint chill permeated the ground. Loki slowly lowered his right hand.

"These weaklings aren't strong, but they're still Nen users," he muttered.

A gigantic shadow projected from Loki's body.

Its mouth opened, and a strange energy seemed to be drawn from the statues, swallowed by the massive shadow.

Loki turned and left.

Only after he'd gone did the ice statues shatter into fragments, scattering ice shards across the ground.

This eerie scene left the onlookers speechless, their mouths agape, their eyes wide with disbelief.

"So many people frozen in an instant."

"And it was done by a child!"

"That ability is beyond comprehension! How could he freeze people into ice so quickly?"

After leaving, Loki checked his power level.

"Increased, but the boost isn't much." Still, any increase was better than none.

He looked up, already relishing the feeling, and began searching for his next target.

While Loki was busy eliminating players, Hisoka, Pakunoda, and Goreinu, who had separated from him, focused on collecting cards. After eliminating two teams, they found several more of the designated pocket cards they needed. Pakunoda was organizing the cards.

"Why is Loki still playing this game?" Pakunoda asked casually.

Hisoka considered this. "Remember, the game's reward is three designated pocket cards usable in the real world."

"Usable in the real world? Is there a specific card Loki wants?"

Hisoka shrugged. "Probably. No one can really guess Loki's thoughts."

Pakunoda agreed.

Having followed Loki for so long, they still couldn't understand his motivations.

As they talked, Goreinu, standing in a spot where they couldn't see him, seemed agitated. Hisoka frowned, noticing Goreinu's unusual behavior. "Goreinu, what are you doing?"

Goreinu looked up, startled. "Oh, nothing. There are some cards I can't fit in my Collector's Book. My free pocket is almost full, so I'm discarding some useless cards."

Hisoka examined Goreinu carefully before lowering his head. "Is that so?"

Pakunoda finished organizing her cards. "Alright, let's move on!" She tossed a Travel card to Goreinu. "You use it." Goreinu had interacted with many players, making him a good choice for selecting the next target.

"Use Travel."

As twilight deepened and the moon rose, Kite, Knuckle, Shoot, and two other strong Hunters, Nanzo and Ben, emerged from the starting hut on Greed Island.

Kite adjusted his hat, looking around. "It's nostalgic being back here."

"Kite, have you been here before?" Knuckle asked.

"Idiot, he's Ging's disciple. This is Ging's game; of course, he's been here," Shoot said bluntly.

Knuckle glared at Shoot. "I didn't ask you."

"It's common sense, Knuckle," Shoot retorted. Both were Morel Mackernasey's disciples, yet their personalities were vastly different.

Kite sighed. "Don't get too relaxed. Our opponent isn't going to be easy."

'Seriously, why us? Ging and the others would be a better choice,' Kite thought, grumbling to himself.

Knuckle, outwardly unconcerned, was internally on high alert.

Nanzo and Ben surveyed the surroundings. "Let's start setting up."

Kite nodded. "Please."

Knuckle and Shoot began their preparations. Kite checked on his companions; everything was proceeding smoothly. He opened his Collector's Book; the cards were still inside. As he prepared to contact Bisky, Bisky appeared, Gon trailing behind her.

Kite looked at Bisky. "You must be Ms. Bisky!"

"That's right! And you're Ging's disciple, Kite."

Kite nodded. Bisky was about to speak when Gon suddenly ran forward. "Mr. Kite! I didn't expect to meet you here!"

Kite smiled, pleased by Gon's words. 'Ging's son is truly suited to be a Hunter!'

"Kite, are you confident you can handle Loki?" Bisky asked, approaching.

Kite couldn't continue his conversation with Gon; he had a mission to attend to. He stood up and nodded seriously. "Rest assured, Ms. Bisky. We have a very high chance of capturing Loki."

"Capture?" Bisky was surprised. That was a bold statement. Loki was a monster, the first person in decades to injure Chairman Netero.

He'd almost killed Netero despite Netero's nearly unbeatable Nen abilities. The fact that Kite dared to say they could capture Loki was astonishing.

"You've learned about the kid's abilities, right?" Intelligence gathering was crucial for battle. Kite and his team had prepared thoroughly.

"Based on the intelligence we've gathered, he has multiple abilities that seem unrelated to each other."

"His main ability is Transmutation, primarily using flames. He transforms Nen into flames, incredibly powerful flames."
