They seemed to recall memories buried deep within their minds—memories carried within their Chimera Ant genes.

Memories of being repeatedly trampled underfoot by humans, their lives arbitrarily controlled.

Recalling this, they realized that even though they had seemingly escaped human domination, they were still beneath human control.

'So, we're still those ants from back then, never changed,' echoed in the Chimera Ants' minds.

The flames in their eyes grew closer.

Their fate remained unchanged.

The fate of ants was to die toiling away or be crushed underfoot by other creatures.

Boom!!! The flames struck the ground. A torrent of crimson fire swept outwards like a tide. Buzz buzz buzz!!! The surging fire consumed and incinerated everything around it.

The Chimera Ants, scorched by the flames, instantly perished. Even their bodies, possessing both toughness and flexibility, were utterly ineffective against the flames.

The spreading flames engulfed the surrounding area, consuming everything within a twenty-meter radius.

The flames shot towards the sky, blooming like a fiery lotus.

To the onlookers, the flames were magnificent, dazzlingly brilliant. But for the Chimera Ants who experienced the full force of the flames, it rekindled the terror of being dominated by human power.

Crackling flames burned on the charred corpses.

Countless embers smoldered on the ground, consuming every blade of grass and tree.

Standing amidst the flames, the red light illuminated Loki's profile, like a fiery emperor.

The intensely destructive flames danced harmlessly around him.

After the explosion subsided, even the areas untouched by the flames were in disarray.

Crack! Crack! Crack! Loki walked to the charred frog, crushing its body with a kick.

"Too bad. Even stronger, you're still just bigger ants."

A cough echoed from a distance.

"Cough cough cough!!"

"I should have dodged earlier!"

"I told you we might get caught in it."

Pakunoda and Baise emerged, battered and bruised, from behind a fallen tree, Hisoka brushing flames from his shoulders.

Behind them, Balda, Ponzu, and their companion stood in shock, staring at the distant inferno.

"He took out so many monsters with one attack!" Balda breathed out.

'The rumors about Loki destroying a whole building with one blow weren't false.' He hadn't seen Loki use Great Power, only heard the rumors, initially disbelieving them.

But now, it seemed the rumors were true.

A casual attack possessed such terrifying power. If Loki was serious, destroying a building wouldn't be difficult.

Ponzu grabbed Balda's shoulder. "Balda, is that kind of power even possible for a human?"

Balda didn't hear her clearly, turning abruptly.

Boom! The flames nearest them flickered, drawing their attention. Loki strolled out of the flames, the intense heat seemingly a personal garden.

The raging flames danced playfully around him.

"Let's go. Continue forward," Loki said, turning to leave.

Suddenly, a violent whooshing sound filled the night sky—the sound of high-speed movement. Loki froze, his eyes lifting to the night sky.

His Byakugan activated, his keen perception capturing the slightest changes in the darkness.

A small black dot appeared in Loki's vision, moving rapidly towards him. Loki focused his gaze; soon, he saw the figure clearly. His eyes narrowed.

"I didn't expect this…"

The sharp whooshing sound grew louder, audible even to Hisoka and the others, who also looked up.

But before they could fully react, a black figure had already passed overhead, leaving only the feeling of a terrifying gust of wind.

They hadn't seen the figure at all.

Thump! A violent collision echoed behind them.

The resulting shockwave exploded outwards, a powerful gust of wind that made it impossible to open their eyes. Hisoka and the others instantly activated their Nen, anchoring themselves to resist the powerful wind.

Along with the violent wind, the sound of ancient bells seemed to echo, resonating in everyone's hearts.

An overwhelming presence pressed down on them, accelerating their blood flow, as if a mountain had been placed on their backs.

They felt as if they were looking at an impossibly tall mountain.

The howling wind gradually subsided.

Everyone slowly raised their heads, their eyes widening. Before them stood the back of an old man!!

Hisoka's eyes widened, his body trembling.

Pakunoda, reacting slightly slower, showed a look of shock. Baise didn't know who the old man was, but she was shocked.

This old man was holding Loki back with a single fist.

Loki, arms crossed in front of him, barely blocked the old man's punch.

The sight terrified Baise. The old man's aura was compressed to the extreme; while the Nen flow wasn't violent, the shining Nen light was dazzling, like a star.
