Leol glanced at the reporter. "I know what you're thinking."

He slowly approached, a wide, predatory grin spreading across his face.

"Those two humans? When we encountered them, they were fighting each other." Leol scoffed.

"That's why humans don't deserve to rule the world. Two incredibly powerful humans, engaged in mutual destruction. If they'd cooperated, we'd all be dead."

Even this terrifying creature acknowledged their strength—a strength that instilled fear even in monsters.

"Unfortunately," Leol continued, "their infighting left both fatally wounded. We killed one; the other escaped, but unlikely to survive."

The reporter's burgeoning hope crumbled.

"What did those two humans look like?" she asked, clinging to a sliver of hope.

What if the survivor was still alive?

Leol pondered. "An old man and a young boy." He dismissed the old man. "He was killed; not worth mentioning. The boy who escaped..."

"Long, wine-red hair. Wearing a white cloak."

Leol's expression shifted, a cold smile replacing his earlier grin. "You're thinking that if that boy survived, he could defeat us, aren't you?"

The reporter, under Leol's terrifying gaze, stared in fear. Leol bared his sharp teeth.

"Even if he survived, he couldn't recover quickly. By the time he's healed, I..."

A massive claw suddenly seized the reporter's head.

"I've grown stronger. That human, if he faces me, will be killed."

Swish!!! A flash of blood. The screen cuts to black.

The situation spiraled further out of control.

Nearby countries were helpless against the Chimera Ants.

Handguns and rocket launchers were ineffective.

More powerful weapons risked civilian casualties and might not even hit the incredibly fast Chimera Ants.

The Hunter Association's pressure mounted daily.

Confirmed human casualties reached five figures, with countless more missing.

In the East Gorteau Republic, the King, witnessing the country's ruler as a useless hedonist, decided to conquer the world.

With his goal set, the three Royal Guards initiated a human selection plan to create Chimera Ant soldiers, overseen by Pouf.

Except for Youpi, Pouf and Neferpitou's abilities were fully awakened.

Meanwhile, in a nearby country, three figures in black robes stood before a shop, staring at a television screen.

"Wine-red hair!"

"White cloak!"

"The brat."

Boom!! The television exploded.

The three figures slowly walked forward.

Leaving the city, they removed their robes, revealing Nobunaga, Phinks, and Shizuku. Nobunaga clenched his fists, his body trembling with excitement.

"Finally! We found that brat!"

"He's injured," Phinks stated gleefully.

Shizuku nodded. "Severely injured. Our chance."

Nobunaga grumbled, "Even uninjured, I could kill him."

Shizuku ignored him. "We just need to find him."

Phinks' aura erupted, the temperature plummeting. A cold wind swept through. Shizuku adjusted her hair.

Phinks' voice was chilling. "Knowing that brat, severely injured and fleeing, once he recovers, he'll target those 'monsters'!"

"Exactly! We don't need to find him," Nobunaga agreed, his hand tightening on his sword, killing intent radiating from him.

"Besides us, we need a few more top-tier fighters. Not too many," Loki said, handing his coffee cup to Pakunoda.

Pakunoda took the cup and ordered him a new one.

Ging nodded, looking at the six empty cups before Loki.

"You agree. Too many people are useless against the Chimera Ants; weak ones become liabilities."

"The Chairman found two good ones," Loki said, referring to Morel and Knov.

They couldn't kill the Royal Guards, but could delay them.

For Loki's mission, they were perfect—strong enough to delay, but not strong enough to kill the Royal Guards and leave the King isolated.

The optimal strategy mirrored the original timeline: Morel, Knuckle, and Shoot would hold off Youpi and Pouf, while Knov would facilitate a surprise attack on the palace.

Neferpitou would require additional personnel. Killua and Gon weren't strong enough yet.

Ging approved of Morel and Knov; both possessed strength comparable to the Zodiacs.

It would have been better if Kanzai, Mizaistom Nana, and Botobai Gigante weren't injured.

"Can you instantly heal others like you did yourself?" Ging asked abruptly.

Loki glanced at him. "What do you think?"

"No? Then forget it."

Ging understood that Loki's instantaneous healing was a unique ability.

Shrugging, Ging considered the situation: Kanzai, Mizaistom Nana, and Botobai Gigante were unavailable, leaving the Zodiacs somewhat underpowered.

The only other strong candidate was someone Ging would never choose: Pariston Hill.

Ging didn't know his full strength, but it was undoubtedly substantial.

"Sigh! No choice!" Ging sighed. "We'll have to get that guy."

"Who?"

"You've fought him. He's strong enough for the King's guards."

Loki pondered. His eyes flickered. Something...
