The person left after speaking.

Loki opened the door, revealing a cart laden with gourmet food. He briefly, coldly glanced at the hallway corner before taking the food back to his room.

Meanwhile, in a dimly lit room, Teradein and Loupe watched a screen displaying Loki.

"It's the brat!" Teradein exclaimed.

"They've left him inside the Association, seemingly unconcerned about him escaping. The Zodiacs must have some kind of control over him."

They couldn't believe the Zodiacs would so easily leave such a dangerous individual unsupervised.

However, if the Zodiacs possessed a method to control Loki, then they had nothing to fear.

Loupe watched Loki pick up the food.

"All the food contains a specially-formulated anesthetic. A minuscule amount is enough to incapacitate even an elephant," Loupe explained, a smirk playing on his lips.

"He'll be unconscious within three seconds of eating it. Then we can quietly take him away."

Teradein nodded, satisfied with Loupe's plan.

On the screen, Loki ate the food at a leisurely pace.

Over ten minutes passed.

Loki, sipping wine, appeared to be thoroughly enjoying himself. Loupe and Teradein were utterly dumbfounded.

Loki seemingly savored the food, then casually opened the door and pushed the cart outside.

With the cart gone, Teradein and Loupe lost visual access to Loki via the cart's hidden camera.

They turned away from the screen, exchanging a look of disbelief.

Teradein pointed at the empty food cart.

"Are you absolutely certain you put the anesthetic in?"

Loupe adjusted his glasses, carefully retracing his steps. He nodded emphatically. "I personally oversaw the addition of the anesthetic. There's no way I could be mistaken!"

Teradein stared at him, his expression questioning.

How could Loki eat it and show no effects?

Loupe was equally perplexed.

"Impossible!" he exclaimed. "This is a specialized anesthetic; even a tenth of a gram can incapacitate an elephant! How could that brat be completely unaffected?"

After repeatedly confirming that he had indeed added the anesthetic to the food, Teradein hesitantly suggested, "Could the anesthetic have expired?"

Loupe turned to him, his face contorting in disbelief. His expression clearly conveyed, Are you serious?

Teradein didn't believe it had expired either, but how else could they explain this?

A thirteen-year-old boy. A thirteen-year-old boy had consumed enough anesthetic to incapacitate thousands, yet showed no ill effects, even seeming to relish the meal.

The two men sat in stunned silence, utterly baffled.

They couldn't comprehend how Loki remained unscathed. What kind of constitution did he possess?

Even with his exceptional strength, he was still human.

Human physiology simply shouldn't allow for such a thing.

While they remained silent, Bushidora, having waited impatiently for the go-ahead to capture Loki, finally called, unable to contain his frustration any longer. He demanded to know when they would act.

Teradein could only relay the bizarre turn of events.

Bushidora immediately left the Hunter Association and returned to the Pure Paladin Squad's headquarters.

Entering the room, Bushidora looked at the two men. "You're serious? The special anesthetic was ineffective?"

They nodded silently. Bushidora's eyes twitched.

"This... this is impossible! Even a single gram of that anesthetic is incredibly expensive! We used enough for thousands, and that brat is completely fine?!"

"Is that brat truly a monster?"

Teradein shared his bewilderment.

Thousands of doses of anesthetic had proven completely ineffective against Loki.

The three men exchanged strange, uneasy looks.

They refused to believe the anesthetic had been truly ineffective, suspecting some unique ability or other unforeseen circumstance.

They simply couldn't accept that thousands of doses of anesthetic would fail to affect a teenager.

Teradein was growing increasingly anxious.

If the anesthetic was useless, would they simply let this golden opportunity slip through their fingers?

Bushidora and Loupe felt the same; they were unwilling to abandon this chance.

Bushidora clenched his fist, his gaze fixed on Teradein. "If these methods don't work, then we'll just have to capture that brat directly."

Teradein and Loupe were taken aback by his words.

"But he's someone who could go head-to-head with Chairman Netero. You..."

It wasn't that Loupe and Teradein doubted Bushidora's strength, but Loki's power was clearly beyond what an ordinary Nen user could handle.

Bushidora dismissed their concerns. "I'll admit, in a direct confrontation, I might not be his match. But what about a surprise attack?" he countered. "Nen battles aren't solely about the strength of one's aura."

They both knew this to be true. Seeing Bushidora's unwavering confidence, they both nodded in agreement.

Late that night, Loki, resting in his room, reflected on the anesthetic in his food.

While his constitution wasn't entirely immune to anesthetics, with the combined abilities of countless top-tier individuals now integrated within him, neutralizing the anesthetic's components using his flames had been a trivial task.

Loki wondered if Cheadle had been attempting to ensure his capture with this method, perhaps out of a lack of trust.

However, he remained unfazed.

He had consumed all the food, sending a clear message to those who had attempted this ploy: such childish tactics were utterly useless.

Deep into the night, Loki slept soundly.

But soon, he awoke, his eyes snapping open.

'Still playing games?' Loki thought, a hint of impatience flashing in his eyes. He had no patience for Cheadle's games. He needed to focus on recovering his mental energy, preparing himself for the formidable enemy he would soon face.

But these repeated interruptions were grating on his nerves.

Loki slowly closed his eyes again.

Several dark figures infiltrated his room through the window, while a series of footsteps approached the door.

While they believed themselves to be utterly silent, their movements were far too obvious to Loki's heightened senses.

The figures surrounded Loki's bed, observing him in his sleep with contemptuous expressions. Initially, they had been concerned about being discovered before they could even reach Loki's room.

But it seemed that someone who had fought Netero was not as formidable as they had imagined.

A brat was still just a brat.

While his strength might be significant, his vigilance was clearly lacking.

They had infiltrated his room without him even noticing.

One of the figures stepped forward, seemingly preparing to activate their Nen ability.

However, activating their Nen ability would undoubtedly alert Loki to their presence.

Nen fluctuations were easily detected by even the least vigilant Nen users, who possessed an innate sensitivity to the subtle shifts in aura.

A third group of figures approached Loki's room, maintaining the distance Bushidora had instructed.

They proceeded without any issues.
