Chapter 1 - 1.Getting Married Is also a good thing!

"Clan Master! Clan Master! Bad news! " A shout from the distance echoed in a rice field and all the farmers paused their actions to look at the young man shouting as he ran over.

He had blue shorts, white shirt and black boots. He was waving his hands as he ran over.

"Huh! It's Little Tintin!" Hong Jun that was instructing the farmers turned his head to see a young man running over.

"Clan Master!." An middle-aged woman standing next to him in the rice fields called out.

Looking at her, he nodded before saying, "You can take over. Make sure to do a good job, after all you are considered the most skilled rank 2 Spititual plant master in this village."

Exhaling slightly, as he turned to look at the little boy rushing over. Clearly he knew the little kid. She was someone that he had saved personally a few years back and left you his parents to serve and help them pass time.

Looking at the little boy, he should be about ten years old this year.

"Dont worry clan master! I'll handle things well " the woman replied in a confident tone.

Seeing this, he was satisfied and walked out of the rice fields.

"Clan Master! Is madam going to arrange another date with you?" A man about the same age as Hong Jun appeared beside him.

Even though the words that came out of the Man's mouth seemed to contain a hint of curiosity, he could feel some kind of gloating in the tone.

"Don't worry clan master! Isn't it just getting married!" Then he proceeded to say this.

The words almost made Hong Jun stagger.

He has been reborn in this world and was about the age of 19. He was originally from Earth, and when he was reborn in this world, thought of the many novels he had read, thinking his chance to shine had come.

It was just that he realized he didn't have any spiritual roots. His elder brother was a famous figure that has joined a rank four immortal sect. Such a sect is said to have an ancestor of at least the nascent soul in charge.

Only five such sects are known to Hong Jun as the strongest. The rest are either managed by golden core or Foundation stage ancestors.

Regardless of anything, this convince has made it such that the Hong clan has its own territory.

Within this territory, Hong clan is like the emperor. In this world though, Immortal sects are at the top of the food chain.

If one wants to form a nation or empire within the territory of the immortal sects, they will have to be willing to follow their rules.

This means that it is not as attractive to become an imperial clan at all.

Bur this doesn't mean mortals don't form empires, it is just that they are nothing before immortal sects.

He knew there might be stronger ones, but that was beyond his ability to accumulate information on. As for 1 and 2, several of them exist, but they are just like subsidiaries of the rank four sects.

Right! Hong Jun was reborn in a world of cultivation. In this world, having spiritual roots is a big deal and it matters more than anything.

His elder brother and younger sister both were born talented and managed to enter rank four sects. He has some suspicions though about the sect his younger sister joined.

The reason for this was the fact that it didn't seem to be the well know rank four sects.

In the region the Hong clan is located, no empire is present. The four strongest immortal sects share this territory and he speculated they had a stronger sect above them.

Hong Jun ignored the words of the man beside him and asked the little boy, " Little Tintin! Why is mom calling me at this time."

"The lady said that you should head back immediately and if you don't, she will not let you go!" The little boy clearly had not seen much of the world as such had little fear.

The man standing beside Hong Jun had his face twitch. He wouldn't dare pass on this message if it was him.

"Oh! That old lady has a lot of free time on her hands it seems." As he complained, he still followed the little boy back.

"Secretly Wen! Is there something I don't know?" He suddenly turned and asked this man dressed elegantly following behind him.

"Clan Master!..." He seemed hesitant to speak.

"Hehe! Don't tell me that old lady has already bought your loyalty? If you don't tell me what I want to know, you can stay and help me plant thia Dragon blood spiritual rice." Hong Jun said with a carefree tone.

"Huh! Clan Master!" The secretary Wen was just about to defend himself, but he didn't give him this chance.

"Actually! The madam and family head have already arranged a wedding for you!" Secretary Wen replied.

"Huh! They did what?" He turned to look ove making secretary Wen flustered.

"Who dares to marry me in this region?" He indeed had a strange expression.

"Well! She is not from this region!" He replied fast.

"Oh! But what region did my Mom kidnap this woman from?" He asked as he looked over with a strange gaze.

"She is from the Eastern Region. Madam saved her along the way and deceived her. No! Arranged for her to marry you!" Secretary Wen reorganized his words carefully.

"No need to beat around the bush! Since I can't escape this fate, it is indeed a good thing to be married as long as she doesn't have spiritual roots. This should allow me to implement some plans without too much concern of my plans being disrupted. Let go! Let's see the woman my mom kidnapped!" As he said this, he rushed off.

In just a few steps he was already a hundred meters away.

Secretary Wen caught up but couldn't help but shake his head slightly.

In this world, most people might lack talent for cultivation, but they still had inferior or even pseudo spiritual roots. It was just that very few like Hong Jun existed, whose bodies had no spirit roots.

It was impossible for those with poor spirit roots to take the path of Immortal Cultivation, but with high level resources they could at least enter the path. Things were different for those without spiritual roots. Regardless of the resources, it was impossible to cultivate immortality.

It was just that over the years, instead of being depressed over this, Hong Jun had developed a certain resistance towards Immortal Cultivators.

In the past he always thought it was jealousy, but it was only a few years back that he realized it was the look in their eyes. Regardless of whether intentional or unintentional, he discovered those with spiritual roots had a condescending nature. It was the same with his parents, and realized perhaps this was the true nature of this world.

It was like money in his previous life and the way people treated the rich and the poor.

Coming to terms with it didn't mean he appreciated this feeling, and he could already tell his parents were probably trying to settle some kind of cause and effect or cut off the ties. They were immortal cultivators after all with longer lifespan compared to him.

He had not seen his father for a long time, and his mother only appeared when it was about marriage. At this moment, he was already sure she was doing this and return back to her sect for cultivation. The environment of the Hong Clan was not suitable compared to the sect.

He also was already just waiting for that day, and told her he would marry any woman as long as she lacked a spiritual root like him. Not having inferior spirit root, rather lacking.

Of course he had to go and see what she had accomplished. If it was as per his requirements, he didn't mind getting married and perhaps freeing his parents. Once they left completely, he might have the chance to put his next plan into motion.

It was why he said marriage was a good thing, and he didn't mind.

Secretary Wen was someone with poor spirit roots, but followed him and practiced the Othershore Primodial Codex. This martial art was something Hong Jun got lucky and obtained before making some adjustments on it.

It was a demon clan technique, but he managed to be creative with it and even managed to practice it to the fourth level.

It was the pinaccle of bone tempering, but he has been practicing it in secret. Even the group he has recruited under him done in secret. If his mother and father also left completely, just like his elder brother and younger sister, he would finally have absolute control of the Hong clan village.

It was called a village, but he had great plans for this place. It was just good as it lacked any attraction to Immortal cultivators. He was happy because of this as he didn't have much ability to cause trouble.
