"Aaaah!"
Xian Li woke up with a sudden scream only to find himself in an unfamiliar surrounding. He looked ariund for a moment.
He was in a small room like house made with wood. He woke up lying on a wooden bed with soft white mattress. There was nothing in the house except for the bed...And Xian Li, of course.
But then suddenly, the view in front of his shifted. Watching it shift, Xian li sighed.
"Of Course, This sudden shift is a must.... Why even bother taking to a simple bed when I have to be somewhere else?"
The sight had changed. Now, He found himself standing in front of a simple looking door with some cracks and a simple handle. The door emitted light coming from behind but there was nothing behind the door itself.
Except for the door, everything was dark void. Still, calm but Dangerous.
Xian Li remebered what happened before he got uncouncious. He could remember each detail vividly, repeat each word said.
He felt.....omniscient.
Waking up from being uncoscious felt completely different from before. Now, everything seemed new and clear, as if he could notice the world in a fresh way. He felt lighter, more awake, more curious- like he knew much more than before, but not quite everything.
The arrogance is gone, replaced by a calm sense of understanding. It's not being all-knowing, but it's feeling more alive and thoughtful than before.
He felt his curse lighten by a overwhelming difference. Like the previous shackles had been replaced by thin worn-out threads which could break anytime.
He took a deep breath and looked towards the door. He went inside the door and when he was completely inside, the door closed. In the void, the door vanished as if it was never there.
In The Immortal Realm.
A massive army stood inside the walls of the Peak Sect. Covering the entire sect was an array which could block attacks of Heavenly Monarch Realm powerhouses. Of course, the array would shatter like glass if The Heavenly Monarch Realm powerhouse went all out.
But it was very unlikely for an Heavenly Monarch to go all out unless in a life and death battle.
Such power was difficult to muster, and every use drained not only the cultivator's essence but somwtimesalso their very life force.
On the high platform in the center of the sect, the Sect Master stood with his hands clasped behind his back, gazing at the shimmering dome of the protective barrier. His eyes were sharp like blades, yet there was a trace of unhidden solemnity and grimness within them.
But Suddenly, he felt something, or more specifically someone, and immediately got to side with a bowed head, not in respect but in fear.
Behind him came The Qin Ancestor, one of the few remaining Ancestors of the Peak Sect. He too, just like the Sect Master wore, a grim expression.
"QIN!!!! WHAT HAVE YOU DONE IN MY ABSENCE??!?!?!"
Suddenly, A shout came from within the sect, piercing the sky.
Heearing the voice, Qin Ancestor and Sect Master trembled. Rest all the disciples inside the dome also heard the shout and shook. Some relatively weaker fell on the ground.
Qin Ancestor immediately recognised the voice and his legs began shaking like he was a hen wating to be slaughtered.
An old man appeared from within the sect at an unimaginable speed, as if he had suddenly teleported. His back was bent with age, and a short white beard framed his wizened face. Yet, despite his apparent frailty, his muscles bulged with strength far surpassing that of any body cultivator.
He was Ancestor Laozhu or The GrandMaster Laozhu.
Dingfeng Laozhu!!
