"Hahaha, fine. I'll talk to you later. I'll look into finding them." Zerus said and bid her a good bye.
Lily hummed and said good bye before hung up the call. Lily stood there a few seconds in a thought before walking into the room with a smile.
Eli called out to her as she entered the room, "Come here."
Lily smiled at Grandfather Allen before going to Eli's side. Eli pulled her hand and made her sit on his lap. "Are you done with the call?"
"Yes" Lily looked at him and nodded.
"Well, it's already lunch time. You're taking a call, so I ordered food." Eli replied.
"Whatever. As long as it's tastiest on my tongue." Lily replied.
Grandpa Allen tried to hear what they were talking about but he was a few feet away from the sofa where they were sitting across from him. All he could hear was their hushed sounds. But he was happy to know that they were really a couple. They had gotten together on the same day, so Grandpa Allen was worried.
After listening to her words. Eli stood up with Lily in his arms. He put her down and held her hand. He walked over to his grandfather's side and said "Grandfather, we are going out for a minute"
Grandfather Allen nodded. Eli left the room with Lily. He took her to the rooftop of the hospital and pushed her against the wall and locked her in with his arms. He moved closer to her until their bodies were inches away from touch. He gently leaned in, touching her forehead, looking into her eyes and uttered "Lily"
Lily's body trembled at his low whisper and her cheeks flushed. Lily looked back at his dark brown eyes which made her drown herself in them and murmured . "Hmm"
Eli called her name again to tell her something, "Lily~", but before he could say anything Lily put a finger on his lips. She looked back at him with equal passion. She tiptoed, inching closer to him and by touching his cheek lightly with hers, she reached his ear and confessed.
"I LOVE YOU, ELI"
She moved back from his ear and kissed his cheek and kept her lips for a few seconds more before facing him again.
Eli's heart skipped a beat after hearing her confession. Her kiss made him close his eyes and savor it. He opened them after she pulled away. His teared up. Looking back at her, he heard a girl whining in his head.
"Trust me Eli, in our next life I will be the one to confess to you first. Just like you did today, I will be the one to beat you first and confess to you. Hmph."
Eli lowered his head and thought internally 'You live up to your word' before letting out a low chuckle.
Lily saw tears welling up in his eyes as he opened them. She cupped his face and kissed his eyes. She tiptoed again, circled her arms around his neck and hugged him.
Eli hugged her back tightly and buried his face on the crook of her neck and inhaled her scent. Lily felt tickled on her skin as he breathed against her neck.
Eli released her and took her hands in his, looked at her and confessed back
"I LOVE YOU TOO, LILY" and kissed her forehead.
Lily's eyes teared up. She now understood why Eli's eyes teared up when she confessed her love. They couldn't help but are overwhelmed by their emotions. Eli didn't let her tear drop and licked it.
While they were in their love world, a sudden phone ring disturbed their atmosphere. Lily received a call from his cousin.
"Hello~" Lily's words cut off.
"Hello Lily, I tracked them down and found out their whereabouts. We are on our way there to catch them. So you don't have to worry about them anymore." Zerus said.
