Chapter 10 - Chapter 10: This Woman Has a Mediocre Drinking Manner

By noon, Nawaki finished his morning training and was so exhausted that he could hardly lift his arms.

Thankfully, Tsunade was there. With a single use of the Mystical Palm Technique, she alleviated the muscle fatigue.

Kushina also came over to get a taste of the Mystical Palm Technique treatment. Her whole arm felt relaxed. It was hard to tell if it was worth showing off so much.

"Let's go and have a meal," Kawaki said.

Kawaki led the three of them towards the dining room. His sister - in - law had already made all the arrangements, so Sakumo just needed to sit back and enjoy the meal.

When they arrived at the dining room, servants were gradually bringing dishes to the table.

There were Spicy Sliced Beef and Ox Organs, deep - fried peanuts, and spiced beef...

Over the years, Kawaki had been quite into cooking, and the chefs at home had become very skilled. The dishes they made as accompaniments to alcohol were truly authentic.

"This is a specialty of the Hatake family. I specifically told the chef to make it today," Kawaki said as he politely arranged for Tsunade to sit next to his sister - in - law.

He sat across from them, with Nawaki and Kushina on his right.

Looking at these unfamiliar dishes, Tsunade was a bit surprised. Were the dishes of wealthy families really different?

She didn't show her surprise on her face and just looked really eager to have a taste.

After all the dishes were served, Kawaki waved his hand grandly.

"Bring two bottles of the soy - flavored liquor."

This was also one of the significant things Kawaki had done since coming to the Naruto world. Disliking the mild taste of sake, he brewed soy - flavored liquor on his own.

Unfortunately, others couldn't get used to it, so it couldn't become a money - making business. However, he and Sakumo often drank it, which was why they got drunk last night.

Immediately, a servant brought over canned liquor. Tsunade had never heard of it before.

"What kind of liquor is this soy - flavored one?" she asked, looking skeptical and feeling like a country bumpkin in the Hatake family.

"Haha, this is the strong liquor I brewed myself," Kawaki replied.

"See if it suits your taste. If not, we can change it."

Kawaki took a can, opened it, and poured a glass for everyone. A strong aroma of liquor filled the dining room.

Nawaki and Kushina wrinkled their noses due to the pungent smell.

At this moment, it was hard to tell if Sakumo was craving for a drink or just trying to act as the host.

He managed a forced smile and picked up his glass.

"Welcome Tsunade to our Hatake family. Let's have a drink together," he said.

Hearing this, Tsunade quickly picked up her glass and toasted Sakumo from afar.

"Phew... Aha."

After the four of them took a sip, they all frowned and made the same sound in unison.

Sakumo picked up a piece of his favorite Spicy Sliced Beef and Ox Organs, and everyone started to dig in.

Nawaki and Kushina each picked up a big piece of the pig's trotter they had been eyeing.

The food looked delicious and tasted even better. The two kids had oil all over their mouths.

The meal officially began.

It was obvious that Tsunade liked strong liquor. She ate peanuts with each sip of the liquor, truly showing the traits of a heavy drinker.

Natsuki occasionally joined them in the drinking, and Kawaki and Tsunade drank with gusto.

After drinking for a long time, all three of them blushed, and one can of the liquor was already empty.

They had also drunk more than half of the second can, which was a two - jin container.

When people drink too much, they tend to be more talkative, and Sakumo was a prime example. Seeing his state, Natsuki couldn't stand to look, but it wasn't appropriate to pull him away in front of guests.

"Tsunade, I like how boldly you drink."

"Let's have another. I'll down this one, and you can drink at your own pace."

Sakumo no longer had that aloof "keep your distance" look on his face. His cheeks were blushing, and he was smiling like a radiant chrysanthemum.

He's just the typical friendly neighborhood big brother.

But Tsunade wasn't buying it. What do you mean by "drink at your own pace"? Do you look down on me, the lady?

"Let's down it together."

Saying that, she tilted her head back and drained the drink, then filled her glass again.

Kawaki was starting to feel like he didn't fit in with them. When he drank too much, he just wanted to sleep, but these two just wanted more and more.

He exchanged a glance with his sister - in - law, and they both sighed and took a small sip of their drinks.

Nawaki and Kushina were already full and bursting with energy. They had run off to the martial arts training hall to practice on their own.

They had boundless enthusiasm for the things they liked, especially as kids.

"Kawaki - kun, let's have a drink. You're so good - looking," Tsunade said as she got up and came over to Kawaki. She put her arm around his shoulder and gave him a flirty look, which made Kawaki's heart skip a beat.

Looking at the cleavage so close, Kawaki was afraid he wouldn't be able to control himself.

He quickly picked up his glass and clinked it with Tsunade's, then downed the drink in one gulp.

"Tsunade, what do you think of my brother? I think you two are well - matched," Sakumo said as he picked up his glass. It was hard to tell if he was deliberately playing matchmaker or just spouting drunk nonsense.

"You're a talented man, and she's a beautiful woman. My Hatake family may not be anything else, but we're quite wealthy now. You won't suffer if you marry into our family."

"I'm really good at gambling. Aren't you afraid I'll gamble the Hatake family into poverty?"

Tsunade still had a clear understanding of herself after drinking. When she was sober, she only thought that her gambling skills were unparalleled in the world, and she just lacked a bit of luck.

"If you can lose, I can earn. We're a match made by heaven (a perfect match destined by fate)," Kawaki said, no longer pretending to be mute. He had a lecherous look on his face.

"Your eyes are looking at me in a funny way," Tsunade said with a flirty look in her eyes. She drained the drink in her glass and put it on the table.

She held her breasts with both hands.

"Is it because they're too big?"

Kawaki's jaw almost dropped. He thought his glances had been discreet.

After drinking, Tsunade was like this. It was so exciting.

"If you like looking, then look your fill."

Saying that, Tsunade grabbed Kawaki's head and buried it in her ample chest.

Feeling the softness on his face, Kawaki first looked like he was enjoying it. But as Tsunade pressed harder, he felt like he was about to suffocate.

Sakumo's glass had fallen to the ground, and his mouth was wide open. Was this something he was allowed to see?

Natsuki blushed and turned her face away, stealing glances at Tsunade and Kawaki out of the corner of her eye.

Using all his might, Kawaki finally managed to break free from her grasp and greedily gasped for air.

His cheeks were blushing from the drink. Moreover, a hint of embarrassment and excitement was almost clouding his mind. His head was in a complete muddle at this point.

"Have you had enough of a look?"

Tsunade still had a smile on her face and showed no sign of embarrassment. She took another sip of her drink, pouted her lips, and gave Kawaki a big kiss on the face.

It left a red lipstick mark.

"Haha, Kawaki - kun, you smell so good."

After the kiss, she burst out laughing, clearly in a drunken frenzy.

Sakumo then came to his senses. He picked up his wine glass but didn't drink. He waved at Natsuki to help him back to his room since he could hardly walk steadily.

Leaning on his wife, Sakumo mumbled, "This woman has a poor drinking etiquette!"

Kawaki watched Tsunade laughing maniacally and the Ghost Mastiff leaving with Aniki and his sister-in-law. Now he had to handle the situation alone.

"Tsunade-chan, you've had enough today. How about we continue some other day?"

"No way. I still want to drink."

Tsunade wouldn't take no for an answer. She filled their cups with the wine from the jar.

Kawaki had to tough it out and keep her company. He couldn't just knock her out. If he failed to knock her out with a single blow, he'd be in serious trouble.

If Sakura could punch a mortgaged house to smithereens with one punch, Tsunade could cause even more destruction.
