"It's fine. He's just being jealous."
"He'll be better after walking it off a bit."
Pakura wasn't worried at all. She clearly understood Orochimaru's little jealous games.
"If that's the case, then good."
Hearing Pakura's words, Aoi relaxed.
"Aww, you're such a cutie."
After watching an excellent show, Misaki couldn't help but hug Aoi. She definitely wanted a cute child like him with Nawaki someday.
"Haha, he stormed off because he was mad at Orochimaru."
Only after confirming Orochimaru was gone did Kushina dare to speak up.
"I used to think he was some cold, divine figure."
"Turns out he's just a big bundle of jealousy."
Pakura chuckled softly, her eyes filled with affection.
"I really envy your relationship with Elder Orochimaru."
Misaki spoke honestly from the heart. She visited the Orochimaru household most frequently, even more than Nawaki himself.
"Don't be envious. You two will have the same in the future."
Pakura wore a face full of happy smiles. She never imagined she'd have a life like this back when she was in the Sand Hidden Village.
"The wedding procession should be coming soon too."
Kushina checked the time and estimated that Nawaki and the others must already be on their way.
She thought about how if she hadn't come to Orochimaru's home, right now she'd probably be with Minato instead.
"They should be here shortly. I'll go check."
Understanding Misaki also wanted to know, Pakura handed over Aoi and went out to inquire.
The two sisters Kushina and Misaki chatted noisily inside the house. Before long, Misaki was blushing deeply from being teased.
"They're on their way and almost here. Get ready, Misaki."
Not long later, Pakura and Orochimaru entered together. Pakura took Aoi from Misaki and helped her adjust the shiro-muku.
"She looks absolutely stunning. That kid Nawaki must've hit the jackpot."
Pakura couldn't help but gush over Misaki's stunning looks.
"Which part of me is that beautiful?"
Modest by nature, Misaki didn't see herself as particularly beautiful.
"More than good enough for that clueless kid."
"You two can wait a while longer. I'll have someone notify you when they arrive."
After saying this, Orochimaru departed again. Today, he could be considered half the protagonist of the event.
Nawaki was his disciple, and Misaki had also learned much from him.
"Thank you for everything, teacher."
As she watched Orochimaru leave, Misaki felt a sudden wave of nerves.
"We're all right here with you."
Sensing Misaki suddenly gripping her hand tightly, Kushina whispered comforting words.
"Mm."
Misaki took a couple deep breaths and calmed herself down.
Inside the house, the women whispered among themselves. Meanwhile, on the other side, Nawaki had already seen Orochimaru waiting by the gate.
"Teacher!"
Nawaki waved energetically with one arm raised high. Orochimaru looked over and responded with a smile.
"Go on in. Misaki is waiting for you."
When Nawaki approached, Orochimaru gently patted Nawaki's shoulder with a satisfied smile.
"Okay."
Nawaki was intimately familiar with the Orochimaru household. He went straight to the room where Misaki was waiting.
"Uncle Orochimaru."
Ginji enthusiastically greeted alongside Kawaki.
"Hmph~"
Orochimaru shot Kawaki a glance and gave a cold snort.
"What's wrong with you? The kid just said hello to you."
Kawaki had no idea that Orochimaru had just experienced a surge of jealousy and was now extremely dissatisfied.
"Tch~"
Orochimaru still didn't respond. He patted Ginji's head, then turned around and walked inside.
He clearly had zero intention of acknowledging Kawaki at all, taking all his frustration out on Kawaki.
"He's definitely seething with jealousy."
Tsunade stifled a giggle; she knew Orochimaru well enough to recognize his jealousy.
"Ugh, whatever, let's go in too."
Kawaki was completely baffled but gave up trying to figure it out.
