She let out a small gasp, inhaling sharply.
His expression turned even colder. "I'll have the family doctor come by to check on you."
"No need, I can just use an ice pack later," she replied.
"I'm not comfortable with that. I want a doctor to take a look, then I'll feel better," he insisted. "Now, is there anywhere else you got hurt? Did those security guards at the mall do anything to you?"
"I'm fine, really. No injuries," she tried to downplay it, not wanting him to worry. "By the way, I… I need to visit my grandmother tomorrow. I was planning to buy some things today to take to her, but I didn't get the chance. How about after dinner tonight, you come with me to pick up a few things?"
