Chapter 3 - CHAPTER 3

The scene that appeared before Guinaifen and all the viewers in the live stream was a space station, docked in orbit. The station was massive and technologically advanced, hovering above an azure-blue planet.

With a segment of elegant Canon-like music playing, illusory figures began to appear one after another around the station. These figures were clearly not human; their bodies seemed to be supported by armor, and their weapons pulsed with antimatter particles.

With just one glance, Guinaifen recognized what these monstrous things were.

"The Antimatter Legion!"

Because her own homeworld had been destroyed by the Antimatter Legion! She was no stranger to these inhuman creatures. The painful memories of the past resurfaced, and she couldn't help but clench her fists.

Could it be? Was this space station also fated to be utterly destroyed by these monsters, just like her home?

On screen.

Inside the space station.

Numerous staff members were in a panic due to the sudden attack, evacuating under the assistance of security personnel. Red warning lights flashed on every monitor, the tense atmosphere almost palpable.

However, amidst this critical moment of crisis, a woman in a long coat was there, dancing and gesturing with her hands, completely unperturbed. Although she held no instrument, she gave the impression of someone playing an invisible violin, wholly immersed in her own performance. It was a stark contrast to the chaos within the station!

Even more, a slight, upward curve played on her sensual red lips, as if this chaotic scene brought her a sense of pleasure!

With a full 360-degree close-up, the woman's face was revealed to everyone.

Guinaifen calmed herself and adjusted the camera angle so the live stream could better display the game's content.

"Family, are you seeing this?"

"The graphics in this game are so realistic!"

"If you didn't tell me it was a game, I'd think it was a clip filmed in real life!"

"Let Little Gui give everyone a quick rundown."

"These inhuman creatures appearing on screen are the Antimatter Legion. These guys are the manifestation of the will of [Destruction], and can also be called [Voidrangers]."

"Their purpose is to destroy all civilization and life!"

"It's actually the Antimatter Legion? Countless civilizations in the universe have been destroyed by them!"

"This game starts with such a huge scene!"

"Thankfully, our Astral Ark is impregnable; we don't have to worry about being attacked by such monsters."

"This woman looks so familiar…"

Without a doubt, this opening cinematic had successfully captured the attention of Guinaifen and the numerous viewers in her live stream.

Leo saw all of this.

And this was just the beginning! The real bombshells were still to come!

Bang!

An explosion suddenly occurred where the woman in the coat was standing. Red emergency lights bathed the area, interrupting her self-entertainment.

"Looks like I've arrived at an inopportune time," the woman said, her voice husky yet magnetic.

At the same time, a silver-white pattern appeared on the screen in front of her. It looked like the silhouette of a wolf.

A young girl's voice came from the screen.

"No, I think your timing is perfect."

The scene shifted, officially transitioning into the gameplay.

The young girl's voice continued from the screen: "System time 23:47:15. You're right on time, Kafka."

"Kafka? I feel like I've heard that name somewhere before?" Guinaifen tapped her head. Suddenly, her eyes lit up.

"That's right! Isn't this the demonic woman with an astronomical bounty placed on her head by the Corporation…!?"

Simultaneously, when this name was revealed, the live stream chat absolutely exploded!

"I knew her image was familiar! It's Kafka!"

"The dangerous individual with a Corporation bounty of 10.899 billion credits!"

"My god! Is this game for real?!"

"Where can I download this game, please?"

"What's the name of the game!"

Antimatter Legion, Stellaron Hunters…

It could be said that Honkai: Star Rail had dropped a royal flush right at the beginning.

Guinaifen herself was completely dumbfounded at this point. She had never heard of a game daring enough to feature two of the galaxy's most dangerous groups right in its opening sequence.

She wiped the cold sweat from her forehead. Seeing the live stream's popularity continuously soaring, she tapped the dialogue options on her phone screen to proceed.

"The future Elio (Stellaron Hunter) sees is never wrong. What was that explosion just now? Was that also in his [Script]?"

"Yes. [System time 23:44:59, the pulse from the explosion caused a large-scale paralysis of the main control system.]"

"You did it?"

"The Antimatter Legion did. They launched a full-scale invasion of the space station two system hours ago."

"Do we need to engage the Legion?"

"I don't know. Elio didn't say, so it's not important."

"Understood~" Kafka whistled. "Then, from now on, I'm taking over the operation."

Someone who could converse with Kafka like this, without a doubt, had to be a member of the Stellaron Hunters as well!

This dialogue was truly shocking! It was like inadvertently eavesdropping on a conversation between terrorists. How could it not make one's heart pound with fear?

Moreover, judging by Kafka's conversation with that unknown entity, it seemed like they were about to stir up some major trouble!

Unimaginable!

Under the dual assault of the Antimatter Legion and the Stellaron Hunters, to what extent would this space station be devastated!?
