Chapter 6 - Chapter 6 : "Unveiled Consequences"

Gojo's back before sundown, just like he said he would be. And he's not alone.

I'm standin' by the front entrance, watchin' him stroll up with that stupid-ass grin, sunglasses still on like it's a damn party. Then I see the guy with him.

A man in a sharp suit, eyes squinting like he's lookin' for something to charge.

"Uh-oh," I mumble under my breath.

"Alright, class!" Gojo's all chipper like he didn't just fuckin' bail on us. "We got ourselves a little visit today."

The guy in the suit steps forward, glancing over his shoulder. He doesn't seem impressed. "I'm from the Jujutsu High administration," he says, his voice cold, too serious for the sunny Tokyo vibe.

"Yeah, yeah, I know the drill. Don't lecture me," Gojo waves him off, like it's nothing.

The guy stares at Gojo for a second, then turns to us. "Who's the rookie?" He eyes me up and down, not giving me any warmth.

I step forward, tryin' to act like I'm not about to throw up. "That's me."

The guy sighs. "This isn't a game. People saw you. That cursed entity you fought? It was exorcised in broad daylight without a veil. This isn't just a violation — it's a breach of protocol."

I try not to look guilty, but I know I'm about to get some serious heat. "We didn't think it'd be a big deal," I mutter.

The guy looks at me like I'm an idiot. "It is a big deal. People saw. They'll talk. We're cleaning up the mess now. The veil isn't there just to hide you, it's to protect civilians."

"Relax," Gojo says, finally taking off his sunglasses, looking like he might've been enjoying this whole thing. "They're fine. Just a little slip-up. Nothing to freak out about."

But that guy's not having it. "You don't get it, Gojo. The secrecy of the Jujutsu world is already fragile. People don't need to know about the cursed energy we deal with on a daily basis. You need to get control of this."

I'm starting to get the sense that Gojo's laid-back attitude might not be enough to handle this. "So what now?" I ask, trying to get ahead of the mess before it blows up.

The guy doesn't look at me, but he's clearly talking to all of us. "Now, you deal with the consequences. Gojo, you better be more hands-on with these students. You're running out of chances." He says this while giving Gojo a death stare.

Gojo shrugs, unbothered. "Yeah, yeah. Whatever. We'll be more careful next time, I promise."

The guy doesn't look convinced, but he nods slowly. "I'm sure you will. I'll be checking in on you all again soon. Don't screw up again."

With that, the guy walks off, leaving us standing there like a bunch of idiots who just got caught in class without their homework.

As soon as he's out of earshot, Maki cracks her neck. "Great. We're in deep now."

"Who's idea was it to forget the veil?" Panda asks, shaking his head.

I keep quiet, not wanting to throw anyone under the bus, but the truth is... I'm part of this too.

Gojo looks at us, his smile still there, but it's more of a smirk now. "Alright, alright. We'll fix this. First things first — let's go inside. The longer we stand here, the more the rumors spread. We're gonna clean this up, but you all better learn a lesson."

"What lesson?" I ask, confused.

"Don't forget the veil," he says with a wink.

We head inside, and the tension hangs thick in the air. Even though Gojo seems like he's brushing it off, I can feel the weight of what happened. There's a bigger picture here that we haven't even touched yet.

We can't afford another mistake like this.

The next few hours pass in a blur of meetings, calls, and more lectures. The administration is putting pressure on Gojo to handle things better. I get the feeling this isn't just about us anymore — it's about protecting the whole Jujutsu world from prying eyes.

By the time evening rolls around, I'm exhausted. Not physically, but mentally. The curse fight seems like a lifetime ago, and now I'm just trying to process everything.

In the end, it's not the curse that's dangerous.

It's the world around us.

And the more I'm a part of it, the more I realize how much we're supposed to protect from people who have no idea what's really out there.

I'm in too deep now. Ain't no turning back.

And for the first time since I got here, I feel the weight of responsibility on my shoulders.
