My heart skipped a beat and for a while, I pretended to think on it before finally nodding my head and allowing him to lead me out of the restaurant.
Two days earlier~
Cassidy got me a new phone, she said it was her congratulatory gift for my successful comeback. I was just glad not to spend any more money and this current house took a lot from me, not to mention, we got a car too.
Cassidy never wanted these gifts, but it was a two room apartment and I really loved living with her, I enjoyed having her close by but the distance from the apartment to the coffee shop was massive so I got her a car.
It was my fault she had to move so far away in the first place. She declined and scolded me for wasting money but I insisted, she deserved it. She deserved a whole lot.
